Had a lovely lunch with my daughters yesterday. I had beef roast. Delicious and very nicely cooked. My eldest daughter had the Ultimate burger. Good quality meat and lovely fresh salad and coleslaw on the side. The other meal was Pepperoni pizza freshly cooked in the pizza oven. Staff very friendly and lots of thought gone into making customers feel very safe. Will be visiting again very soon.

We had only used the cafe during the day and it was on a recent visit that we noticed that it had started to serve some evenings and the menu had been extended to include pasta and pizza do we decided to try it. Booking was easy using the website with a rapid response and confirmation. The place had such a different atmosphere on the evening. It was lovely and will definitely go again. The service was very prompt and the food was really good.

I can not find any fault in the meal, very nice. Really nice staff will be going back.. The renovation is to a high standard. Only issue was my husband had to remind staff that we had been waiting 20 minutes and no service, think we had Been forgotten about.

The renovation looks amazing and seems so much bigger. We booked a table for lunch on the day as we’ve always enjoyed the food there and the lunch was really tasty. In this current climate I did have concerns. People were allowed in without booking (especially at the busiest time), there was no real instruction with the track and trace form (handed them in at the till and they were just chucked to the side), people were being shown to tables by squeezing past an occupied table, not everyone had PPE on and the drinks came after our food.I understand there may be some teething issues with reopening in a pandemic and hopefully these get ironed out.

Went on Sunday for lunch since its reopened as The Bakehouse when we arrived we were asked if we had booked and our temperature was taken and track and trace rules we in place too, shown to our table and given our menus very good choice of food and drink. Waitress was attentive and I liked the way she asked if would like any sugar with our tea a nice touch. Food came within 15 mins considering it was busy very tasty we had ordered Sandwiches plenty of salad even though I was sharing with someone as well. Decor is very modern and comfortable seating and lighting we will definitely be back again.

Great new place to visit for lunch when we are in the area, a Family member told us you had refurbished. As we come from the Lakes you can literally take your dog in any cafe, I really didn't think and we did find that we could not bring my Mums Jack Russell in, I guess once the outdoor seating is finished we can sit out with the dog, luckily we parked down the side of the building and the weather was not too warm so we just left him in the car in the shade. Could you possibly make the tables on the left of the check in area where the TV is for dogs? Staff really friendly, food delicious, you do have to book it was very busy and we will definitely return.

I took my mum for lunch her last week. The renovations and the cleanliness are second to none. We felt extremely safe in these strange times. The food didn't let us down either it was lovely. The staff are always amazing here and nothing has changed. We done everyone its a credit to you.

Had a lovely meal at the Bake House Charnleys. Atmosphere was good and felt safe and relaxed which is very important during the difficult time we are all facing at the moment. Service was good and staff were attentive and friendly ensuring that everything was ok for us . Definitely recommend a visit to this venue so nice to have a restaurant to visit with such excellent food.

Car Park wheelchair unfriendly, difficult due to the chippings, maybe you could consider a dedicated disabled parking area with solid access into the building. Very nice place though, done a good job with renovations, food was good, decent size portions, service a bit confused, main meals came reasonably together, however sweets and drinks delayed, and a little slow , growing pains I'm sure, clearly a lot of new inexperienced staff, but friendly enough. The million dollar question would we return, yes of course, even though the alcoholic drinks and sweets are a bit pricey. But decent atmosphere, felt safe enough, temperatures taken on arrival, and track and trace form available. Can only get better when the small niggles are ironed out.
