On a short break to dorset i included a visit to tabby tea rooms. I had a lovely time meeting all the adorable cats. They are so well looked after with silky fur and really content and happy to greet their fans. Friendly lady working there told me all about them and their various antics. I left feeling really uplifted . If you love cats you're going to love this!! The cats are full of character and are sure to make your day. Cant wait to go again next trip. I was even inspired to paint squeak who is as mischievous as he is adorable. He has a twin bubbles!

Lovely carvery as usual. Food excellent as is the service. However the rear car park is appalling for such a fantastic hotel. Overall though very good

We were a party of four. 2 local s and 2 family visitors from USA. We were happy with the booking on line arrangements . The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. We have a small complaint about the wine list. Why was the vins pays d'oc Which is my wife's favourite wine, and Is subject to a wine lake in languedoc only available by bottle ,whereas other wines could be bought by glass. It seems to be a typical English rule to unnecessary complicate life.

It was an absolute pleasure to eat at the Olive Tree. Stunning food (‘The Spectacular’) and an excellent wine list, fairly priced. 100 percent recommended!

Brilliant service, excellent food but music too intrusive too loud for easy conversation. The musician looked fed up and bored so suggest gentle piped music might be more conducive to accompany the lovely food.

Staying in bridport, had a reservation, arrived 15 minutes early, sullen faced hostess who said we are busy, there were a couple of vacant tables with reserved on them, assumed one was ours, she points to a middle row end table right by the door and said "you can have that" I requested another table as personally cannot abide sitting by door, "no, that's reserved" we had a reservation! Was then told "come back at 7.30 and you can have that table" end by door, all the time walking towards us effectively backing us out. We went to pub across road, lovely staff, great atmosphere, so stayed for dinner as quite frankly a condescending attitude can do one !

5 of us came for roast at 2pm Sunday 10th. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Carvery was really lovely. Very good choice of meat and wonderful variety of vegetables. It was all hot which is sometimes not what I’ve found in other carvery’s. My only small criticism for want of a better word was the size of the small plate. The ladies were going to have a small plate as thought it would be done by meat slices not plate sizes. I personally only like one slice of meat and a good portion of veg but obviously choose the larger plate as you would not get much on the tea plate size of the smaller plate. One carvery that I go to, have small, medium and large choices, all the same plate size but you get one slice of meat for the small, two for the big and so on. With that said the food was delicious. The actual restaurant is a bit ‘canteen’ like. Perhaps flowers on the tables or a bit of decoration somewhere would brighten it up a bit. I would definitely recommend the carvery. Thank you.

We always paid a visit to Ming Wah when we visited Weymouth. Now we live here, which means we can go more often. The food is excellent, never had a bad meal and the staff are friendly and professional. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our third visit and have experienced top quality food. My wife had the seafood spectacular which she throughly enjoyed. I had the chorizo wrapped in belly of pork with a great selection of vegetables perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and were tentative.
