I booked online for the 28th December at 12pm we arrived at 11.45 and it looked closed up, we waited another 5 minutes then got out the car , and the door was locked no lights on why accepted my booking when you are closed......online it states OPEN only date showing closed NEW YEARS DAY have eaten here a few times, but very disappointed in this . Just seen a review where someone had breakfast this day???????...... SO WHY WAS IT CLOSED WHEN WE ARRIVED AT 11.45 WE STAYED UNTIL 12.05 .......Do not understand this

The best Avocado with poached egg I’ve had, we visited yesterday 28th Dec, met 4 friends for breakfast for my husbands birthday, never disappointed, the best place for breakfast, fabulous staff, food and atmosphere, even better I. The summer as the outside space is perfect, fantastic garden centre too xx

Had a lovely lunch here recently. The food was really nice and the service was good too.

I have attended this venue a number of times now. I find the staff welcoming efficient and always polite. Gorgeous atmosphere and food is simply scrumptious.

On this occasion we had to wait 20 minutes and ask for someone to take our order. Also, I felt that the staff member who showed us to the table, didn’t really communicate that effectively with us and just pointed to the table and left but perhaps they were having a bad day. The food, as usual was good.

Good food in pleasant surroundings. Efficient service despite being busy. Will return.

Christmas lunch for two of us, chosen from the ‘Christmas’ menu. Choice of dishes, food, service and ambience all outstanding, better than we had expected. Decent value for food and drink:

We had a lovely time at our Christmas lunch yesterday and the staff were all so lovely, especially the young lady who served us (sorry didn’t ask her name) Table was big and difficult to manoeuvre in and out but it didn’t spoil things The only thing that we felt the need to complain about were the rock hard roast potatoes which most of us were unable to cut but overall, very nice meal. Thanks

Great lunch here on Sunday, food and wine was lovely, impeccable service too. We all enjoyed it!

Great food, great staff but just a bit cold in the restaurant hope it’s warmer when we come on Christmas Eve can we please sit where there are the table cloths.

lovely place to go as a garden centre and eatery - 'hidden' away before the melee of Stanway. Other centres may be bigger but I thought this centre better in many ways. good parking. light and airy covered shopping area. cosy and comfortable eating area with a good choice of food and drink. Staff were very helpful and happy! Definitely go again and again :)
