Beautifully cooked veggies breakfasts when we were in yesterday and my daughters scrambled egg and smoked salmon looked great too . Quality here is always consistent and the eggs used are lovely . Best poached eggs around . Service as usual was really excellent . We really enjoy coming here .

First time having Sunday Roast at the Barn, seating was a little cramped, but the roast made up for this it was all very good, plesant waitresses, the roast was served hot with good portions of vegetables and nice big roast potatoes, my beef was cooked just right and my wifes pork the same with nice crackling. Yes would come again.

Very good value for money with a great variety of food well cooked. The only negative comment is that some parents were not controlling their children who were running wildly around the restaurant and shouting loudly.

Lovely breakfast at The Barn. I had American pancakes with Greek yoghurt and berries and my husband had the full English. Great service and lovely food! A little on the pricier side compared to m other places locally but I never hesitate to visit.

4 of us booked the Gala NYE Dinner. We had a very enjoyable evening - canapé + 6 course taster menu. The food was excellent - very unusual + creative dishes . We opted to pay more for the wine pairing selection . The food/wine pairing was excellent value served by pleasant attentive waiting staff. The atmosphere was great with party hats + face/moustache masks on our table to get us in the mood for the disco with midnight serving of Prosecco.

Stoked is always and will always be one of my favourite vegan restaurants in the local area. The time and effort put into the restaurants decor, vibe, food and service is second to none. There’s also something for everyone if you aren’t a fan of the “meat” style meals. I personally loveeeee their seitan and can never go wrong with the og chick’n slider. The drinks are great too with so many alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The staff are always so wonderful too. The menu is small but it means that every item has had a lot of time spent on it!

This is the third time we have attended the Blue Anchor for a 6 course gala dinner on NYE. It’s always a fantastic evening with dancing until 1am to see the new year in after dinner. The food was amazing, the atmosphere friendly, cozy and inviting, service was also excellent. Great value for money too. This has become a regular event for us with family joining us every year because it’s a great night. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to see the new year in, in style. Thank you to the team at the Blue Anchor for a great NY celebration.
