Excellent lunch Service and food very good Slightly on the cold side

Another visit for breakfast at The Barn on Sunday. Never disappointed with the food, the friendly staff or the surroundings. Since moving to Copford a year ago this is our favourite place to go to. 10 out of 10

Had breakfast. Husbands scrambled egg and smoked salmon on sourdough toast was by far the best he had eaten. Very generous portion of smoked salmon. My vegetarian breakfast was equally delicious, the scrambled egg perfect and tomatoes, bubble&squeak etc were very good. Would like vegetarian sausages added or as an option as most other places provide these. Eaten many times here and always happy with the food and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Had lunch with a friend lovely quirky garden centre with lots of interesting bits n bobs .. The cafe was busy so best to book a table ..lovely staff so friendly and helpful food was lovely chips were to die for A real hidden gem been a few times now

Never had a bad meal ever. The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Can be a slow service when cafe is busy so that you are looking to catch an eye but overall a great place for lunch. Cannot wait to go back.

Been here a few times with different friends - always excellent service, good quality food, no matter what time of day. The cakes are totally yummy! Lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends - but very advisable to book as very popular!

I took my friend to Barnplants yesterday as her birthday treat. We had fish and chips.which was.lovely, fish cooked perfectly and the.chips were just perfect. Will go back.soon.

Food was perfect and many choices. Well presented and tasty. Staff very efficient and friendly.

Had morning coffee there yesterday,and had a lovely time, we moved tables as I was very hot, and waitress brought our drinks,got me some water and then more drinks,very happy to answer questions about the menu e t c , lovely place to go.

Very impressed with Grumpy's, particularly the service - our children are dairy intolerant, and our server was really helpful in assisting us with our choices as well as supplying things to entertain them with while we waited.
