Grumpy’s is a great restaurant for both kids and adults. The service is excellent and food is tasty and well presented. The kids mentioned that The Burger and Ribs are better than TGI’s, if that not a recommendation I don’t know what is. It’s great value for money too. Give it a try.
Grumpys Diner – SouthendDelicious vegan bbq thank you so much! I can definitely recommend. We will be going back.
Stoked Vegan BBQ – SouthendWe recently celebrated our 20 years in business at the Blue Anchor. Our meal was delicious and the services was excellent. Thank you for a great afternoon.
The Blue Anchor – ColchesterLovely table by the log fire ! Waitress was really lovely and took time to fuss our 2 dogs as well !! 2 course roast dinner for 2 adults and a 13 year old and 2 roast dinners for our dogs including drinks £90 !! Unbelievable value !
The Owl – LoughtonExcellent Sunday meal, service was very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere and all enjoyed the food and company. Well done
The Blue Anchor – ColchesterHad the beef sirloin roast on Sunday, a beautiful meal, loads of vegetables, roast potatoes to die for, plenty of gravy and a large Yorkshire pudding. What’s not to lije, highly recommended
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterBooked it for my sister's birthday. I've been here a few times, years ago and the food was good then. So we were really looking forward to the day, unfortunately the food was a big let down. No taste, stale and just overall a big disappointment. And definitely overpriced!
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – BasildonHot food, generous portions, fair prices, great friendly service in a lovely atmosphere of a typical Essex pub steeped in history - what's not to like!
The Ship Gidea Park – RomfordBeen to the pub for drinking on numerous occasions. Thought we would try the food and wasn’t disappointed, the Sunday roast was great. Plenty of food and the service was good.
The Ship Gidea Park – RomfordDelicious food, fab cocktails and service was spot on, very friendly. Lovely cosy restaurant, we sat by the fireplace which was just lush!
The Blue Anchor – ColchesterFood was not bad, in saying that not enough choice on the menu, should do more Pub traditional dishes.
The Blue Anchor – ColchesterWe had a lovely meal at The Blue Anchor. My husband and I and two great friends. Our food was very good - we had three courses with drinks for £50 per head. Our waitress was polite and attentive. Many thanks
The Blue Anchor – ColchesterLovely restuarant, the food was extremely good as was the service. Recommend
The Blue Anchor – ColchesterWent for a Valentines breakfast with my wife, very good service, excellent food and of course I had the best of company
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterLovely experience. The food was really good. Tasted great and good value for money. Really friendly staff. Will definitely be back
The Owl – LoughtonI love the cafe but the choices don’t always suit what I want for a light lunch. I would enjoy sandwiches, panini, baked potatoes rather than the larger lunches. Thank you the food is good though
