We have been to this pub a few times for lunch - mid week and weekends. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is plenty of choice on the menu. Good value pub food.

Visited here Sunday with A Classic Car Run. Excellent food & service lovely setting too. The Butternut Squash Wellington was deliscious as was the curry. Nice place for a run out to on Sunny day.

Such a cosy and inviting feeling on walking in. So much memorabilia on the walls adding to the feeling of being in Italy. Food choice excellent and so tasty. Most portion sizes very generous. Attentive service. Already thinking about what to have next time and who to take.

Came and had Sunday dinner with my husband and daughter staff were very attentive and the food was amazing will definitely be back we had 2 lamb Sunday dinners and 1 beef Sunday dinner

Excellent food and service thank you

Ate her on a Saturday evening, pre booked at 7:00pm and entered what was a virtually empty bar/restaurant. They sat us next to 3 other tables one of which had 2 x dogs sat beside it. These were the only tables with people sat at them. No privacy at all but easier for them to attend as everyone was sat on 4 x tables !! Id like to point out that if I go out for dinner my choice is not to be sitting next to dogs whilst I eat. They should have an area marked off for people who take their dogs out to dinner with them on a Saturday night. I requested to be moved so they sat me us up at the front of the bar in a window seat. Tables in the conservatory area were empty and not reserved so why not there, 20ft away, we felt it was well you can sit all the way over here on your own if you want to move. The food was goo I had the Hunters Chicken but the service was poor as I waited 25 x mins after my plates were taken before anyone showed up to ask would we like a desert menu, my partner sat for over 15 x minutes with an empty glass as again no one checked would we like another drink. If you provide table service then attend to the tables it’s really rather simple. I have to mention the drinks prices too which were very high, a pint of Lager is over £6 a single brandy and lemonade was nearly £7 Charing £1.75 for a splash of pump lemonade is a rip off. This review is entirely their own fault as they sat us miles away from other diners they where clearly attending too as the delivery of drinks and service to the lower bar area was noted and we both agreed they did this trying to be funny and as a result they either forgot they had diners at the front of the restaurant or did it deliberately resulting in the poor service and my subsequent feedback.

A really excellent Sunday lunch, as good as any in the area. Good helpings of quality, tasty food with fine beer. Attentive service throughout.

The food was bang average with the inside of my burger patty cold. I think that for the price it was poor quality. Staff were friendly and offered good service.

Really enjoyed our Sunday roast dinner on Easter Sunday.

Food poor and didn’t match the lovely description on the menu!!!, needed to chase for drinks which didn’t arrive and cutlery. Disappointed

We thought we would try the Tigers Head for Sunday Roast Sharing board. It was delicious, the meats were fabulous, Yorkshire were amazing. My only criticism is the oblong plates and the mint sauce it was served in the colmans jar with a spoon. The young staff were very helpful. I hope they will decorate in the future as we noticed the wallpaper was peeling away from the walls which didn't look so great sadly. But I do recommend the sharing roast platter.

We enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Tigers in the main area. One tasty Sunday roast and two of us having the small Italian plates- yummy Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food and great service as usual. Thanks Tigers Head

We had a fantastic meal and evening in the Italian restaurant section. Once a fairly intimidating room, Leigh and Jo have transformed the place into a cosy, inviting place to eat! Food was fantastic, the Dolcelatte Gnocchi is a must and the Penne with Vodka and prawns delicious. Service was friendly and fast and the whole place felt lively again. Top job and highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal at the Tiger's Head. The mixture of smaller dishes means you can try different meals. The waiting on table was excellent, thd food was served nice and hot and just at the right time.
