Attended for mothering Sunday. We had the lamb roast dinners which were very good. There was lots of fresh vegetables and the lamb was lovely and tender. There was also lots of gravy. It was quite filling. There was only me that managed a deserve. It was a mint sponge cake which was out of this world. We will be visiting again shortly.

We were a table of 6, and visited on Mothers Day. We ate in the newly refurbished La Cappella restaurant. The atmosphere was really enjoyable, the service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff were friendly and approachable. The food was fresh, hot and extremely tasty. There was a wide range of food choices on the menu. Some of our family members had the roasts, and some had the Italian food. It’s wonderful to be able to pick and choose either the roasts or Italian food. Our children loved the food too. We were super impressed and are already booked in to return with friends.

Lovely food and lovely atmosphere , the pub was cosy but could do with a bit of a paint just as it’s cracking and flaking . It is quite pricey for pub food but it is lovely

Been a long time since I visited the Tigers but recenet changes are certainly a step in the right direction. The Italian menu in the restaurant was good.. service very good , really enjoyed our evening . The atmosphere in the small restaurant was very nice. A great new addition to Norley Thank you .... see you soon

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at The Carriers In . The food was delicious and plenty of gravy. The service was excellent, all staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble Definitely recommend eating here. Not too far from Delamere Forest so good to visit after a walk

Thank you for another lovely meal. Service was warm and friendly but not intrusive. Food was hot (very important to me!) and tasty. Will definitely come again. Looking forward to more options on the menu - lasagne would be good !

A super fast service by a lovely young lady that was very attentive and efficient. We were a party of four having a meal on a Sunday- we all chose lamb, and had a few months ago too. We all ate everything on our plate which was ample and delicious. I had chocolate fudge cake with custard and everyone else had apple pie & custard, again it was all served quickly, hot and tasty! Thank you.

Went to try the new Italian menu with friends and what can I say, it was fantastic in every way! The place is starting to look so much better under the new management and the food and service were spot on. I loved the idea of having several small portions as it allows you to have a taste of more options. Being a coeliac it was great to have so many GF options as well. We all came away full and having had a great night! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I have dined at The Carriers in years gone by and this visit was the first in seven years. We're so glad we had Sunday lunch with you - it was excellent! Booking was easy online, the staff couldn't be more welcoming and the Sunday roast of lamb was delightful. It was so tasty, washed down with an lovely bottle of Malbec, at a reasonable price. We both had room for pud and apple pie with lashings of custard was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife. I had the cherry bakewell sponge with a generous helping of custard - heavenly! We will definitely dine at The Carriers again - highly recommended.

Went to The Tigers Head for Sunday lunch, the young staff were very polite and friendly, the food was excellent, I had the pork which was very tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful original country pub.

Lovely food, decor and atmosphere in the old back bar. Meme style small Italian plates are a really good idea.

Another lovely ciccheti meal at The Tigers in the main pub this time with two friends & a dog. We were all made very welcome and we tried a different dish of pasta linguinie d,uja which was lovely- full size was a very, large portion Well presented,cooked and waitress service was spot on. We all highly recommend & our friends who live in Derbyshire wished they had a pub which offered this food near them. Come & enjoy

Tried the Italian which was a step up from the food we’ve had there previously. For the last year or so food has been overpriced and nothing special. Under new management and the beer and food has improved. The place still needs some work to justify the price of the menu but it’s definitely going in the right direction. Service was good but could benefit from attention to detail.

Visited here for Valentines Day, the food was incredible and extra special as they have a separate full vegan menu which isn’t offered everywhere! Atmosphere and decor was lovely. Massive shout out to Terri who served us, she was so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She even checked which wine was vegan for me before we even got there, great service! Great tasty food, well presented and served in timley way by friendly staff at La Capella. Nice atmosphere and lovely food. I can recommend this little slice of Italy with good portions and authentic food.
