My husband and I had a lovely meal. We really enjoyed it. Everything cooked to perfection. Fabulous service. We will be booking again in the near future.

Unfortunately, we actually turned up for our meal in Wednesday 10th May and the restaurant was closed, despite us having both an acknowledgement of our booking and a reminder!! We were very disappointed as we had been given no indication of you being closed, and there was no apology or explanation on the door when we got there! We were kept with having to find somewhere else to eat at the last minute!!

Gluten free options available. I had a gf pizza. The chef double checked with me due to me being a Coeliac which was very reassuring. Gluten free fries too which was a treat . Other family members enjoyed their meal too. Relaxed atmosphere.

This is my 4th visit in the last 3 years and have noticed a huge difference in the quality in food. It was splendid on our first visit and was excellent and worth every penny, however our last visit is probably going to the only time we'll go as they have really dropped the food quality. I got a chicken tikka wrap and was flooded with onions and mayo and no flavour. My missus got hot taste buds so specifically asked for a hot curry and to make it extra hot, but was sweet, to the point that I could eat it. I can't eat anything hot at all but I could easily eat it. Mango lassi is provided in a jug, price remained the same but the jug size has dropped but a third, why? I absolute hate that most businesses including thus one will reduce food quality and proportions rather than increase prices to remain in business. I would happily pay more as understand inflation but I can't fathom compromising food quality. I'm disappointed on this overall as loved they food quality previously.

My Sister in law told me about this place I’ve been wanting to try it for ages and I was so Impressed. Everything I ate was perfect Smoked Salmon Risotto Turkey Roast and Rhubarb crumble. £22.50 excellent value. I couldn’t see the plate there was so much and the Turkey melted in my mouth. We went late I don’t know why the place wasn’t full. Most people will have eaten earlier. It was a very tasty main meal with good gravy and I would say the Roasts were home made too. There was so much turkey I had to leave a couple of roasties not usual for me. The crumble came with ice cream and cream wonderful. I always have to ask for extra custard. To find this place is great we’ve just fallen out with out with the place we normally go after a dreadful Sunday dinner. The girl taking the orders was extremely nice friendly and amenable a credit to the place. If it’s as nice the next time I’ll be going in the kitchen to compliment the chef

My mother in law to be has eaten here several times and never had an issue however last night was absolutely awful food, it has put us all off ever coming again. Food was dry, the cheese & onion pie was disgusting, salad tasted of fish. Staff didn’t do a check back to see if everything was okay with the meals. It was a hen party meal, we chose this as was local. A lady that worked there in particular was very rude if looks could have killed I wouldn’t be writing this review today.

Amazing. Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had.

What an amazing restaurant. Everything spot on, from the service, ambience and the food was delicious. The cocktail menu was impressive too. Will definitely be returning as want to try one of the pizzas too.

We are regulars at The Buraq. Fabulous food, service and prices. Always busy.
