Go Greek – BlackpoolAnother delicious meal at Pipers. Beautifully cooked food in cosy surroundings. Service friendly as always - striking a great balance between feeling relaxed yet making it feel like it’s something special.
Pipers – GarstangHaving a Japanese restaurant in Poulton is a great idea and it is very popular indeed. The menu is small but perfectly formed.; after all: it is better to do a few dishes very well than lots of small dishes averagely. Had we not eaten at a superb Japanese restaurant in Harrogate in the summer, I would have rated the food at Gochu as excellent. As it is, I would say it is good. The service wasn’t great though, I’m afraid. We were sat for 55 minutes before a drink or food appeared and reorders of drinks were slow to appear. The atmosphere was fine: the restaurant was busy and fairly full. Taking into account the service and food, I’d be hard-pressed to say it provided value for money. I don’t begrudge paying for great food and great service but this didn’t quite hit the mark. Sad because this would have become a regular for us. As a new restaurant in a small town Gochu needs to attract returning customers: locals and needs to work a bit harder to do so.
Gochu – Poulton-le-FyldeFunky interior design, a good playlist and interesting cocktails....that's a great start, with prompt service and a comfortable corner table on the middle floor (which was full at 9.15pm on a wednesday, and buzzing with chatter and a friendly vibe). The menu offers a range of portion sizes, from snacks thru to full mains which you can mix and match 'tapas'style if you wish. All beautifully presented, generous in size, and proper tasty. Not the cheapest, but prices justified by quality ingredients making it a welcome addition to the poulton dining scene. Nearly 3 months in, and they already have plenty of regulars, so they are clearly doing it right!.
Gochu – Poulton-le-FyldeFood was amazing as always... Tapas... Chicken satay pork ribs and prawns.. Thai green curry Thai Red curry... All served with real ale.. And great service...
The No 10 Bar and Kitchen – BlackpoolFirst time visiting gochu also eating Japanese food and got to say absolutely loved the flavours and food they had to offer, the waitress was really friendly.great restaurant with a great atmosphere.
Gochu – Poulton-le-FyldeExcellent service , pleasant staff Lovely meal chose two from the specials menu and was not disappointed Will return
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesSecond visit! Slightly disappointed with the reduced menu on a Sunday evening, but food great all the same. Ordered cocktails to begin and would’ve liked them before the food, but ended up food coming before and cocktails and bottle of wine followed a bit after. Will definitely return though
Gochu – Poulton-le-Fylde31st October 2021- Delightful Sunday lunch with family all choosing different off a fantastic menu! Not only that Mum was specially catered for. Nothing too much trouble, friendly and attentive bar staff and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend. Cosy fireplace too.
The Clifton Arms At Warton – FreckletonWe just had evening meals here. I had Formaggi Fritti then Lobster Ravioli, and my wife had Mushroom Gorgonzola then Arrabbiata. All were delicious and very well cooked. The restaurant itself is clean and well-appointed, and the staff a good mix of youth and experience. Simply cannot fault the place and we WILL be back!
Italio – BlackpoolAbsolutely beautiful! Staff, ambience and the food is next level. Wish I’d ordered more :) x
Gochu – Poulton-le-FyldeWe were a party of 7, including a teenager and three vegetarians. The menu was perfect, something for everyone. The quality of the food was fabulous, the restaurant had a nice chilled vibe. My only complaint would be that the portions are possibly too large to be considered tapas but this is a minor issue. I can highly recommend the super grain salad - utterly delicious. We'll certainly be back when we're next in the area.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesAmazing food, amazing service! We will definitely recommend and will be back.
