Our first visit to Orthello’s. I was on my to visit list before Covid, so a year or so later I eventually made a reservation. Initially it was meant for two but then I had to add my mum to the booking and it wasn’t a problem. It lived up to my expectations of a lovely family led restaurant with the food reminding me of past holidays and summer evenings. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners and staff were very helpful. We are moving to the area soon and can see us visiting regularly.

Went to Italio last night, the food was delicious and a really nice atmosphere. The service was excellent, we were well looked after. Have already booked a return visit and cannot wait.

Absolutely beautiful food and fantastic service, great atmosphere and lovely staff team. Been a while since we’ve been in, went with my sister for tea and the food was outstanding .

Visited after playing golf with the owner. Usual Indian haunt was also local, Ali Raj now country Garden. Baraq is much much nicer both in service and attention to detail , but the food is so much more refined and therefore extremely tasty. It's worth a try for a truly classic Indian food experience.

Sadly after such a long wait due to lockdown, our visit to Pipers was very disappointing, and not at all up to the usual standard. The menu was very limited, my starter was billed as ‘Moroccan mushrooms ‘with cheese. I counted approximately 3 small mushrooms drowning in sea of chickpeas! The sea-bass main was over cooked and tasteless, not even the potato and tomato sauce could rescue the flavour! My husband s duck breast was tough and the sauce also lacked any taste. This was such a shock as the food has previously been excellent, full of flavour. I was beginning to think that it was a different chef. Not impressed ,as it is not a cheap restaurant. The best thing we had on the night were the drinks.

Super meal, we ordered 6 small plates and everyone was excellent very authentic and delicious. Staff were very attentive and Tony is a great host, great value for money 10/10

We had such a fantastic meal, the restaurant itself was gorgeous with a lovely atmosphere and the staff were brilliant couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and looked after! Overall amazing experience would definitely recommend
