Very good environment, nice food, I’m happy with it

We ate here last night ( a party of four). Service was very slow considering it was very quiet. I would be concerned if it was very busy. Despite that the meals we had when they eventually arrived were very tasty and well cooked . Surroundings both inside and out were excellent. Just need to brush up on the service issue but would still recommend.

We keep coming back to enjoy the quality of the food, cannot fault it. Great service and a real nice place to eat in.

Popped in for a meal with my grandma and kids. The kids shared a pizza which looked great, but the sandwiches were a little disappointing. Bog standard sliced bread from a supermarket and the thinnest slice of cheese possible, had expected better to be honest. Asked for half pint drinks for everyone but the waitress obviously misheard and we all ended up with full pints, which for the kids was far too much. Couldn’t be bothered to say anything but it ramped up the bill price by roughly £5. The setting is lovely as are the staff.

Excellent service and meal for a girls lunch on Monday. Pizzas were superb, goats cheese salad so tasty. And the Eton Mess and choc brownie dessert were gorgeous. A lovely sunny day helped too! Would recommend & we will be back.

Fantastic service, amazing food . What a lovely place will definitely visit again.

Booked in 28th may for 7pm drinks came but no food around 7.45pm called Tony to table he checked and admitted he forgot to place our order. When it arrived the food was decent and they took 10%off final bill.

I do wish The Grapes would have some consideration for local residents in their misguided pursuit of customers by broadcasting outdoors at offensive volumes the 'singing' endeavours of those who sound like cats being strangled. I want to be able to use my garden of a weekend.

Service was very friendly and pleasent. Fairly slow even though the pub was quiet, but think this was due to more people outside. Food was very good and fast service! Would recommend
