I have tried lots of Indian restaurants but I always come back to Buraq. I have never had a bad meal. Takeaways have been easy to order on line and you can book a table on Facebook. Could not be easier. Great food and always a warm welcome.

Great service and great service

Booked a table for 4 people on Sunday for the big game, came to the door where the bouncer told us there was no tables so I told him I had a booking which he laughed at and said no you don’t before telling us to go away. So I called and said I have a booking and a woman said yes your booked In so I asked her to come to the door to let us in because the doorman wouldn’t. She then came to the door told the bouncer she had given away our table and walked off with no apology or explanation. Absolutely disgusted with this establishment rude staff and rude doormen who are cocky and disrespectful. Would not recommend to anyone who likes good service.

Family afternoon tea for parents 65th wedding anniversary. Food very good, service not so good (only one waitress on - she was very pleasant and trying hard, but it was too much for one person). We arrived at set time, but had to wait at least 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and had to ask twice for the actual tea/coffee, which arrived as we were finishing the food. Probably more atmosphere when it is full, when half empty a bit lacking. We had stated that it was a 65th wedding anniversary when booking and later when confirming, so a bit surprised they didnt do something to mark the occasion - we were a party of 12 so its a substantial booking - a couple of balloons, or a special cake, or some small gesture. Also would have been nice to sit out on the terrace as weather was good. Food was very good - except the scones which were a huge let down.....more like biscuits! Mini arancini particularly impressive, as was the house made pesto; and the mini custards. good variety of sandwiches, hot savouries, and cakes. Could do with more staff, and a bit more personal contact with guests - no sign of a manager or anyone to greet guests.....everything else needs to be upped a bit to match the quality of the food.

Booked table online a week earlier arrived on time only two other tables taken.We ordered our breakfast and drinks,after a twenty minute wait we were told they had lost our order,it was re taken and we waited another fifteen minutes for a coffee ,when breakfast finally arrived we had seen numerous people seated and served and had waited a total of fifty minutes . The food was very good ,but we wouldn't choose to eat here again.

Italios was a new restaurant for us to try an it was wonderful - we had missed our 50th Wedding anniversary and our relatives birthdays so going out for a meal was very special to us and it was. The staff were so friendly and helpful the food was very very tasty and generous helpings in fact the starters almost filled us up ! We are going to bring our sons to this restaurant next time. Everything was just perfect..

Another great meal to celebrate a birthday. The garden space looks fab so going to try that next with a few tapas.

Superb welcome and very good range of food on offer. Meals ordered were very good and quickly served. Will definitely try again. Fully recommended.

Five ladies out for lunch. Service was excellent, Just 2 small points although I love calamari, they were a little salty and I do like seasoning. Poached eggs shouldn't be served on sugary waffles I love waffles but they don't have to be sweet for a savoury dish.

Excellent Restaurant as Usual! Highly recommend! Staff are all very friendly.

Had tapas at 54 last night. How great to be able to have tapas so close to home. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone was helpful and attentive. The tapas we had were delicious and I am looking forward to going back to try some more. We appreciated the help of the Manager as to how much we should order. The churros made a good evening great.

Great food and service. Staff attentive and owners were actively interacting with everyone. No hesitation in giving full marks. Well be back again very soon.

Wonderful afternoon tea with food that was to die for- those melting moment biscuits blow your sugary socks off! Really pleasant service, relaxing atmosphere and I wouldn't hesitate to come again, despite living an hour away :)
