Second time we have eaten from here. Once through the takeaway service and second time actually in the restaurant. So friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit

Just fantastic!! food was absolutely delicious, it was excellent value, manager and staff were all fabulous, definitely one of our new favourites.

Great to be back to iIalio. We've missed them. Nice people. Lovely food. Very tasty. Although the atmosphere wasn't the usual busy bustle due to obvious restrictions and distancing . Not their fault . I'm sure when we all get back to normal it will back to the usual busy excellent restaurant its always been .

Group of four of us visited on a Wednesday evening and had a really good meal. The food was excellent, everything was lovely and hot and very tasty, couldn't fault any of it. Was glad the restaurant was quiet as it was pretty cramped. There was very little space between the tables, I couldn't pull my chair out fully as it was bumping into the chair behind, even though the table behind was empty and it's chairs were tucked in. Wouldn't want to be there on a busy night.

We booked staining lodge to go with the family as the summer is coming to an end and the kids(3 teenagers)are going back to school. Having eaten here many times before the kids were looking forward to the chicken strips and the scampi. When we got there we were told to sit at the far side, we weren’t shown to the table, the menus were already on the tables and I have to say we were really disappointed with the choices so much so we nearly left, However we decided to stay, when the guy came over 20mins later we placed our order the kids ended up having kids meals as there was nothing else suitable and my husband ordered a Sunday roast (which was on the menu) only to be told it was available during the week!! We waited probably 25mins for the food to come and at best it was an average meal. As the kids were still hungry we decided to order them desserts. We waited a further 15 mins and eventually had to get someone to take the order. Myself and my husband ordered coffees at the same time. The coffees came after 15 mins and were cold!! I had to ask when the desserts were coming as the kids had already waited 25mins. The restaurant wasn’t full there were empty tables. When I went to pay a different guy asked was everything ok when I told about our experience he couldn’t have cared less!! Thankfully it was the last day of the half price offer so we didn’t have to pay full price but we definitely will not be returning any time soon.

Food was amazing and staff are lovely. The only issue was no kids menu so my 10yr old had to order from the main menu which loved but couldnt eat it all so would have been good if they had smaller plates for kids as it worked out expensive at £50 for me and my daughter.

Service was amazing . We had breakfast three days in a row. The manger and team are wonderful. The breakfast is freshly cooked and nothing too much for them . We be coming back 10/10.

Strange times at the moment, our 1st holiday in the Caravan this year, 1st meal in a restaurant where it was quiet and peaceful. The Restaurant was perfect the service was excellent and the food was really nice, just the correct amount and hot. Would definitely return. Thank you.

Excellent staff providing excellent attentive service. Food delicious and good portions. Might be nice to have smaller portions for children at lower price but never the less all good. Also felt safe with COVID measures in place.

Fabulous food staff and place could not fault anything would have booked again but they were full. Real hidden gem
