First visit to FiftyFour will definitely book this restaurant again when in the area. Staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble . Food was excellent, with plenty of good choices on the menu.

Had a delicious meal with my two daughters on Saturday. Excellent service and fab views of the countryside. The girls had burghers and I had farmhouse platter all delicious absolutely no complaints. Thankyou

Refreshing new face at Staining Lodge! Ewan catered to our requests in a very friendly manner. Always a great view here, very relaxing catch up with Friends. Salad today was a disappointment as really looked like a side plate. Did not warrent the price tag.Mentioned our constructive feedback to Ewan and he sorted out alternative and we got + from the chef. Still friendly face and good service which is what I expect. No defensive attitude like you do get at some establishments. All in all we had a fab afternoon in open clean idilic space. This is a return venue.

Becoming Home from Home After a hard day at work we book a table to relax, we then re book to come on a Sunday too. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. We can't recommend Staining Lodge enough.

I have visited Staining lodge many times pre COVID for breakfast, lunch afternoon teas etc and the food and service have always been excellent but having collected an afternoon tea from them during lockdown and recently viisted for breakfast I can honestly say it was better than before. On our recent visit, it was easy to book, there was clear signage on arrival and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I visited with my mum who is in a wheelchair and it was easy to park and access around the venue is stress free. The staff were in visors and there was hand santiser available for you. The food was delicious, hot and quick to arrive after ordering. Everything except payment was table service and the staff member was engaging and quick to take orders for drinks. Beautiful views out over the golf course I can't recommend this place enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Staining Lodge. Everything was cooked perfectly, especially the thick, meaty farm sausages. The lodge itself is very attractive, with a large spacious dining area, added to this is the glass atrium where we were seated, with a beautiful view, ovelooking the golf course. We would definitely recommend Staining Lodge & will be visiting again soon.

The breakfast we had was disappointing compared to pre COVID.Only 1 slice of toast with the scrambled eggs.The portions on the full breakfast were smaller. The quality was however still excellent. Please don’t send review requests at 2.15

Visited Guys last night for a birthday meal we sat on the terrace outside, it was fabulous absolutely outstanding the food, the presentation, service and staff were amazing! We had the big seafood platters to share and I ate the halibut and prawns for my main. Would 100% recommend!
