We all enjoyed our pizzas at the County in Lytham. Good beer too. Much better than it used to be.

My Wife, mother and I enjoyed breakfast at Capri today. We sat outside in the morning sun. My Eggs Royal was excellent. Everyone else gave the thumbs up too. It's not cheap but worth it.

Well, this is going to be easy. Everything was fantastic. The atmosphere, service, food, prices, absolutely everything. I've been meaning to visit this lovely little restaurant for a long time now. The menu is compact which is great as I can take for ever to choose, although as they have selected some of the best and most popular dishes it was still difficult. We had the Prawn Saganki and Loukaniko & Halloumi to start. Prawn Saganaki is one of those dishes that in theory shouldn't work. Feta cheese, prawns and spicy tomato sauce mixed together? Really? Yes folks, taste sensation let me tell you. Plenty of herbs, especially basil, and the combination works really well so make sure to order some pitta to adequately dispose of all the sauce. The other starter was equally tasty, but you can't really go wrong with good wine soaked village style pork sausages and tasty Cyprus sheep's milk cheese. One of the best taste combos out there. The sausage was cooked just right so all the subtle flavours came through and the cheese was prefect too, nice and soft. I particularly liked the presentation of the Loukaniko which made the pieces look like mini octopus. Onto the mains where we chose Kleftiko and the Fish Platter. Kleftiko was a lamb shank served with potatoes, carrots and shallot. The meat just fell off the bone but was full of flavour and the accompaniments were equally flavoursome with just the right softness without disintegrating. Fish Platter consisted of a lovely white filet which had been expertly cooked so that it flaked off the skin but was still moist and delicious, large mussels that had been topped with an incredibly thin crust which was delightful, a whole kalamari that had been cut into rings, floured and fried plus some king prawns. The whole lot was served with a small salad garnish, half a lemon and a side of divinely sweet oven potatoes. We also had the obligatory Horiatiki Salata (village salad) which comprised of a mix of very fresh and crisp lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, green pepper, black olives and feta. It was very lightly dressed, but personally, that's better than being drowned in dressing to the point where it's all gone soggy before you've eaten half of it. All this was assisted on its way down with a delightful bottle of Retsina, which I think is still far too underrated a wine in this country. Go to the supermarket and buy a bottle. Try it with seafood, nibbles or just in a paper bag on a park bench. You won't be disappointed, unless it's raining when you're sat on that bench and your paper bag is getting soggy. Anyway, to round off an already pleasurable evening, we found a small space for dessert. The Baklava is made in-house and is to die for. Sorry mum, but it shouldn't be downed in syrup (luckily she doesn't go online). The crispy top complemented the chewy, soaked base and the crunchy nuts. Nothing bad to see here folks, keep moving along, all the way to Go Greek. Seriously, if you haven't been, GO, GO, GO!!! Trust me, I'm Greek .....

I took 7 of my family to Henrys on a monday night to celebrate a birthday of my son. We were seated in a prime location on one of the leather banquettes. Service was effecient and pleasant from the two ladies. Everyone was impressed with their food, a couple of them felt that the food had improved since their last visit. My ribs were very tasty and melt in the mouth and the burger good, just not as good as the ones upstairs in The Drunk Buffalo. The wines were reasonably priced as well. Will return

Firstly I must say that the owners are the most obliging people and so very helpful, as are the staff. Food very good, good quality produce and well cooked. Excellent specials boards, super value for money. I can say in all honesty I strongly recommend this restaurant, It is by far the best in the area.

The worst Chinese ever!! Do not order food from here! Crispy beef with awful sos hp brown sos!!!! They don't care if you not happy with food they will ignore you and be sarcastic with you. There is no manager you can talk to you and staff put phone down on me! Discounting customer service!!!

Wok Wow – Blackpool

Enjoyed my portion of fish and chips from Whelans. A nice touch that they have the floor turfed for the Worl Cup. Glad the takeaway was in paper not those bloody boxes! Keep up the good work.

We really enjoyed our Drunk Buffalo experience last night. Firstly it's a great looking space upstairs at Henry's but I guess they could have made more of the pop up in terms of decorating the space. I was pleased to see a few excellent American craft beers in the fridge, which ties into this hip burger beard thing. The helpful bearded waiter explained all and that orders and payment needs to be made at the bar. The menu which looks similar to SoLita's in Manchester, was short and sweet. I had the Buffalo Burger and the wife the Drunk Buffalo (soaked in Jack Daniels). Both were very tasty, moist and filling. We shared a Buffalo tray which had fries, pulled pork and crispy jalapenos. Prices were reasonable, however I would expect fries included not as an extra payment. It all happend nice and quick too, so a perfect pit stop if you are on the move. We will definitely return and would strongly recommend to others. Normally these hip dining trends take a while to get to leafy Lytham, so well done Henry's for taking the plunge on this!

Visited tues 17th June. Ordered British beef and Pedigree ale pie. It arrived and I was immediately disappointed. The pastry was turning white in colour, the gravy was crispy at the edges and virtually non-existent elsewhere. We asked for extra gravy and I was given a small gravy boat containing coloured water. I have no problem with the staff who were courteous and helpful but the food served up was disgusting. Crispy gravy? Just not on. How long had that pie been kept warm? When was it made? I dread to think.

Well what can I say a great place to eat if you fancy a proper American style gourmet burger or just a nice cold beer or glass of wine. Big screen TVs and great relaxed atmosphere, downstairs is the more formal award wining Henry's bar and grill and on a hot sunny day you can sit outside all in all a great place. Ten out of ten :)
