Worst resturant ive been too staff rude and very unfriendly .. Service rubbish .. Was made to feel we wasent welcome .. Food horrible .. Couldnt eat it !!! Menu was very limited as most things wasent avalible sold out !! Watress put a hot bowl of soup over my toddlers head to place it on the table !! Not one member of staff smiled the whole time we where there .. And since returing home my husband has been glued to the toilet ... Would i recommened this place NO

My wife, daughter and myself called in early this evening for a meal for Father's Day. An excellent meal and good value for money as we had the 3 course Sunday banquet for £9.95 each (but the drinks and papadoms were extra.). We had 3 different meals; you can really see that each dish has been prepared separately unlike some other Indian restaurants that all seem to serve the same base but with a different sauce. I recommended the Red Fort to a couple that asked us if it was nice, as we came out!

Enjoyed the great value takeaway deal listed above. A tenner for a great Indian meal and delivered!

Went to Espanol last night (couldn't get in last week) and had a wonderful evening, so much so that we are going back next week. Lovely food, lovely service and lovely people. Best of luck

food poisoning from chicken,gave benefit of doubt. went back 2 weeks later, same again :(

Complimented the chef on the best beautifully presented prawn salad I had ever had fruit eggs and all salad xtras. went back two weeks later and was so dissapointed just a basic salad you get anywhere tomato lettuce and cucumber and prawns just on the side I suppose I should have said something but the same price. Maybe not the same chef

Consistently great food and I guess that's why they are so popular. Destination of choice in Blackpool and dont normallt like chains!

My Family and i stayed here last weekend, we travelled 4 hours to get there and when we arrived it was very late. the staff were amazing even thought it was late at night they all helped to settle us in our room, we had small children with us and they got milk ready and a meal as we" d had nothing to eat on our journey nothing was to much trouble for them.we will go back to this hotel again and AGAIN ...thanks jim and bev

We had our wedding meal at the Mount Pub after our marriage we all had different meals from starters to main courses we couldnt manage the sweets trolley all the food was fantastic quality yum yum good beers and wine the best pub food we have ever eaten.we can all recomend The Mount Pub for its food charm and service. date we visted was 170911. regards from every one.

I duly attended this restaurant this evening at 7pm. There were no other customers there when I arrived which wasn't a great sign, but in this economy I didn't read anything into that. Times is hard and all that. The first staff member I saw was the barman. He looked so miserable and struggled to welcome me with any warmth. When the next member of staff brought me the menu my enthusiasm didn't rise at all. The restaurant offers a tea-time menu until 8pm of 2 courses for £10.95. They did not offer me the menu upon arrival and I had to ask for it. I ordered Lamb Tikka starter and Chicken Madras with pilau rice main course. The lamb was dry and I'd say had been been "warmed up" a good few times previously. It was accompanied by a limp, aged salad which I left. There was no yoghurt dressing which one may normally expect with such a dish. The main course, chicken madras was delivered in a coconut sauce, perhaps moreassociated with a korma than a madras , with no chilli bite or spice one would normally expect from a Madras curry. The pilau rice was fine. I was very hungry indeed and ate most of it but felt very let down. The waiter asked at the end of the meal how it was. I told him it wasn't great and asked for the bill. He took time to seek further feedback as to the shortcomings of the meal which showed as a waiter he cared so fair play to him. I'm sad to report that this was the worst Indian meal I have eaten in 27 years.

Absolutely terrible!!! Despite it recently getting shut down for having rats i assumed it would have sorted itself out and as i had previously enjoyed food from there i gave it the benefit of the doubt. Got a phone call from the delivery driver and clarified address as they had given him the wrong one, knowing he was only down the road i waited in the front room. After half an hour i called back wondering what had happened as i was absolutely starving and got told that he had been round banged on the door twice and rang the bell twice, absolutely no chance. Then on hearing the driver call me a "lying bitch" in the background i told them to forget it.....will not be ordering from there ever again.

Had a wonderful time at the Turkish Palace last weekend. From the moment I arrived the staff couldn't do enough for me and my girlfriend. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, I'd strongly suggest the mixed meze starter, it was delicious as was the Chicken Plate. The service was great in the restaurant as well and the guy behind the residents bar had some cracking banter with us after we came back from a night out, The Cocktails are lethal but lovely. Gonna come back down in a couple of months to try the spa which should be open by then. All in all a wonderful hotel and cracking restaurant. Will be sure to tell my mates bout it as well as it was really cheap for the weekend and i'd looked at a good few hotels before booking. Don't miss out on this palace :)

I've been a regular visitor to the Moghul (and sister Red Fort) for a few years now (I live 200 miles away and work here regularly). The most important factor to me is consistency, and the high standards of service I received years ago still apply today. And then there is the food... high quality, enough variety for everyone, and each dish just how you want. Of partiicular recommendation is the Naga Lamb (Hot, but so full of flavour), the Balti Exotica, lovely biriani's and the wonderful chicken Jaipuri I have just polished off. My preferred restaurant in the area by far...

This restaurant advertises special offers that are only available for takeaway not dine in, without any mention of this. They said it was a mistake by sugarvine funny as they've made same mistake on their own website.

Excellent food - the tapas were as wonderful as any we have had in traditional spanish tapas bars and the cocktails were great! However, the stroppy blonde waitress who didn't manage to smile at all, or say more than three words to us in the whole time we were there really let this place down.

Hello,This evening me and my partner had the worst experience for dinning in a very long time. The food was massively overpriced for a mediocre 3 course dinner. Just to add salt to injury when I asked the waiter about the coustard he had to admit that it was not home made either. For 3 course wine in top quality restaurants on the island we paid between £80-100 (in restaurants like Jar, 14th North, The Lime Tree, Macfarlane's, The Abbey). £121 was just outrageous as the food did not deliver the expected quality for that price. Was our first visit but probably the last one too.

Another visit to the Sparling's on the 2nd June for my partners birthday and had yet another wonderful meal. I had a large bouquet of flowers delayed in the afternoon to the sparling's as a surprise for my partner and neil was more than happy to assist with the surprise. He put us on a large table even though the place was very busy and the service was excellent. I cannot praise this place enough, the food is unbelievable and neil is just a pleasure to watch. We will be going again tonight (9th June) with a couple of friend's who haven't been yet, so there in for a big surprise. Keep it up and thank you neil.

This is the best restaurant ever!!!! We went last night and the food was superb, staff very attentive and the place itself was lovely. We came away very full and very happy - would recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!! As extremely fussy eaters who expect the best, we were not disappointed - everything from the popadoms at the start to the brandy at the end were just sport on, and we even got free drinks when the staff realised it was our 10th wedding anniversary - WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!
