Red Fort – LythamJust ordered my first curry from the Welcome, what a treat! Staff most helpful and service very prompt. The portions were very generous and the prices very reasonable. Will certainly be visiting again. Would recommend this local takeaway to anyone.
Welcome Chinese TakeAway – BisphamMe and my wife went for the early bird menu on Tuesday this week I had the chicken magumbo and my wife had chicken achbori both meals were absolutely fantastic the only thing i could say was the coco cola came out of a plastic bottle, it was quite expensive and very flat.....But all in all excellent place very helpful staff.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-Seawhat can i say that will better this top-class restaurant? every time we come here we enjoy it more and more and we enjoy the camaraderie of all the staff. as far as the food is concerned we have great difficulty in actually selecting something from the menu. the only way to actually try everything is to call every week which is very tempting!
Terra Nostra – BisphamGemma has full marks in my eyes for service and food. We go at least once a month and at Xmas for the past 3 years we go for our Xmas day curry a bit unorthodox i know but as usual great food excellent service and great atmosphere
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWell on 30/12/2011 three of us came here and were served two pints followed a little later by two more. We were very well dressed, quiet and extremely courteous even complimenting the barman on pulling a good pint. Then when requesting a third pint we were told abruptly and in a nasty fashion that we had had too much and were asked to leave! His female colleague who had just appeared also had the same attitude! We Couldn't believe the incredible change in attitude. We were in no way loud, abusive, crude or disrespectful. On asking why, he just said the manager told him to. Asking to speak to the manager we were told Oh He' went out 30mins ago! now please leave! There were 9 people in the pub, nobody eating. We left as quietly as we had entered but wished that the barman would be able to keep his head on his shoulders the following night, being New Years Eve. Wow I bet that night was a bundle of fun! So we and many of our friends in St Annes are spreading the word to avoid this place with the disgraceful attitude the staff.are showing.
Salters Wharf Toby Carvery – St. Annes-On-SeaMost interesting in every way from decor and artwork to friendly and humorous staff then of course there is the food where quality far outstrips quantity thank goodness. Very French an utter delight in this area. My favourite venue!
Cartford Inn – Great Ecclestonhave been here 5 times, each time the food is as fantastic as the last time. just introducing our family to this lovely little Greek restaurant. well done glenda and spyros. we love you.
Go Greek – BlackpoolVery disappointing and not worth the one hour drive from Manchester. My partner and I dined on the special menu last night (2 courses £9.90). We were the first people to arrive at 6.00 p.m. and I would not say we got a warm welcome. My partner made a couple of queries regarding items on the menu with the waiter and then we were very rudely addressed by the owner asking us what was the problem with the menu, you either choose from the special offer or the a la carte. Totally uncalled for because we were not causing any problems. To make matters worse my partner almost broke his tooth on what appeared to be a stone in his main mail. We immediately brought it to the attention of the waiter who took the piece into the kitchen (did not remove my partners meal) and went to investigate with the chef. He came back after quite some time to say the chef had cooked the item down and it was not a stone and had probably come out of the vegetables. No apology no offer of a replacement meal. Needless to say my partner left the rest of his meal. We will definitely not be returning.
Wonderful restaurant had an anniversary meal with husband and enjoyed it very much cant wait to go back would highly recommend, staff are so friendly the meals were gorgeous, restaurant is well laid out and spacious, very nicely decorated.
Easy East – Blackpoolbrilliant place. great menu. light and airy. posh. well mannered staff. been 5 times since it opened. brill.
Berties – LythamThe best restaurant in Poulton, the food is delicious and my and my family enjoyed a warming, lovely meal at Gennars. I would recommend this place!
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeTotally amazing..wasn't sure what to expect really as first time there. Food, atmosphere, friendliness - everything perfect! You really need to try it!

Carlitos – Knott End-On-SeaThis was our first visit and certainly wont be the last. The surroundings were beautiful, the service fantastic, and the food so tasty, if you are in ,or visiting Blackpool visiting this restaurant is a must
Sapori – BlackpoolMyself and my Husband went to the Grapes for a light lunch, we both choice a salad, I went for the bistro salad which was £9.95. It sounded fantastic on the menu, but not cheap, when it arrived I could see straight away that the chicken was very over cooked and extremely dry. I was asked if I would like dressing which I did but there was hardly anything on it,the salad came with stilton which turned out to be shavings and very few at that, I was also supposed to get croutons but I didn't. My Husband said his was OK, but nothing special. We ordered another drink and I decided to go for a tia maria coffee, 20 mins later it still hadn't arrived, they were definitely not run off their feet,I complained and still had to wait another 10 mins. The pub was very quiet and yet there were lots of dirty glasses around the bar.We didn't enjoy our visit and definitely will not be returning.
Grapes – KirkhamWant to find a food heaven then book early. The place is run well organised captain at the helm. Just pop in for a coffee and you will be hooked. Cheers.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe Queens Hotel Pub is lovely now the new owners have taken over. We have eaten there twice now and recommend it to all our friends. The food is a typical pub menu except the food is not microwaved rubbish but tastes freshly cooked and good quality. The specials also provide interesting alternatives - the venison burger was delicious! An example of how good the food is that I was able to eat ribs with a knife and fork as they were do tender they fell off the bone. We also enjoy stopping in for a coffee or a pint when walking on the prom. The Queens is just the sort of establishment Lytham was lacking - good quality hearty pub food. We will be going back again very soon!
