Went last night and had the banquet. Fantastic food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and quick service. Best Chinese I have ever eaten and will definitely be going back.

The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic meal best Indian i have ever had, clean fresh and non greasy food cooked to perfection. nothing too much trouble and staff friendly, helpful and amusing. Highly recommend a trip here, also had takeaway in the past and this was excellent too.
Meherin – Thornton-CleveleysI'm sorry to say my family and I (10), celebrating a birthday, on a Monday evening, were not impressed at all with service or food. It was over 80 minutes before our order was taken. Champagne was ordered, but not served till the starters had arrived, not as an aperitif as required. The medium/rare steaks were still breathing and the quality of meat wasn't good. Overall, bad service and poor food spoilt what should have been a lovely evening. We were offered a considerable reduction to the bill but I'm sorry the evening had already been ruined.
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – Lythamgreat place for a night out , food to die for and really tasty. service a bit slow but was busy, would deffo go back. prices really reasonable for what you get, would recommend to anybody.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolHad a family meal "Al Fresco" on 10.8.09 to avoid the waiting time of one hour. Staff friendly and Carvery meal excellent value with the promotional voucher. Will definitely go again.
Tavern at the Mill – Thornton-CleveleysI found this little cafe by accident while on a day trip to Blackpool last year. Just bought fish and chips to eat as we walked along. But they were beautifully cooked, great tasting, juicy fish plus hot and crispy on the outside. Definitely go again. Place also seemed to have a regular clientele always a good sign.
Seafresh – BlackpoolJust returned from a superb spontaneous visit to Zen in St Annes. As locals we have missed going to Tiggis/Joya sinced it closed, but Zen could well be our new favourite place in town. The restaurant is very well decorated providing a warm authentic setting, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Most importantly the food is absolutely spot on. We shared a mixed starter including fantastic ribs and a very tasty fishcakes. Our Thai mains were excellent too, and having had similar dishes at Siam in Lytham we both agreed that this was easily on par if not better. Indeed the food was amazingly tasty, fresh and well prepared, we were both marvelling through the whole meal. A shared starter, 2 mains, 1 serving of egg fried rice and 2 Tiger Beers came to £30, excellent value considering the whole experience. If you've looked at Zen's own website, don't be put off. They've only been open a few weeks and the site clearly need enhancement. This is a place that St Annes can really be proud of and we look forward to returning with friends and family soon!
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaMain courses we had were 'Zalzala Chicken' and 'Tropical Birani' - both were fantastic, subtly spiced and full of flavour. We first visited this restaurant in August 2009, and now again on our annual golfing visit to Lytham. A meal at the Red Fort Moghul is an absolute MUST!!!
Red Fort – LythamMy favourite restaurant EVER! Loved the decor, loved the food, loved the staff and the prices are very reasonable! I would definitely recommend going to Zen, and will definitely be going back again.... and again.... and again!!!
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWent last Saturday night, and without boring you in too much detail, ill sum it up in a nutshell,.... Absolutely Top Drawer in every way possible!!! without doubt my new favourite Chinese and would recommend this gaff to anyone who'll listen! ...just go and you'll see what i mean!
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaA group of 8 of us had a great meal!
Whelans – LythamMy Fiance and I went for lunch yesterday at the Cartford Inn and were very impressed. I'd say its one of the best looking pub restaurants in the Fylde. Modern and upmarket but still retaining a rustic charm. We both said that it was a great menu, in that it was very difficult to select one each from all the choices. I had the chefs special, which as expected was excellent! It would be a poor do if it wasn't. My partner had the Duck and we ended up sharing. We had a couple of glasses of Shiraz which were good especially for a house wine. You don't expect young male waiters to be much good. They tend to shuffle about mumbling and looking embarrassed. Not this lot, they had been trained well and were open and friendly. A credit to the French owner who also has beaten us at our own game, hearty wholesome stylish British pub grub.
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonZen gave us the best dining experience we've had in a long time. We eat out 2-3 times a week at different places so we are very experienced diners! The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful. We were asking about the decor which is absolutely stunning and were told by Khim the owner that most of it had been shipped in from Thailand so everything you see is authentic. We had the set Thai menu for two people which allows you sample most of the starters which was great as we couldn't decide what we wanted to try! The massaman beef curry and chilli chicken were our mains and this comes with the rice served in a halved pineapple which looked as great as it tasted. Four of us dined and we had 2 bottles of wine, 2 glasses of wine, 2 soft drinks, the set menu for two and 3 starters and 2 other mains and the bill only came to £105. We can't recommend this place enough, please go if you enjoy great food and service. If you dine anywhere else I'd say you'd be wasting your money! 10/10 I'll be booking in again very soon.
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWe came for a day trip from Isle of Man to Fleetwood, and spent day visiting relatives in NW. We came back to Fleetwood for dinner, not sure what to expect. That the Trafalgar is clearly the best restaurant in Fleetwood is an understatement, it's fish offering (from the specials board) is up there with the best (in my view the best is Joe Forte's in Vancouver). The price was very reasonable, and with an interesting variety of wine. My wife will be telling tales of the home made potted shrimps for a long time. Don't be put off by the fact it is in Fleetwood - it's worth a trip just to eat there.
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodWe have lived locally for 30 years. Knott-end fish and chip shop is now the best it has ever been. The fish is superb and chips excellent. They always have a special which is good value. Cannot be faulted. Although busy the owner always has a chat.
Kays Knott End Chippy – Knott End-On-SeaI have had take out from this chip shop before and it was lovely so decided to have dinner there. The first time we tried the fish was Ok, if a little tasteless but the chips were basically just bits. Undaunted we tried again last evening. We ordered a large special and a small special. The chips were OK this time. definitely LOTS of them, maybe a lot too much. However, the fish batter was overcooked and greasy. Saw one being sent back to the kitchen by other diners. At least the large version actually had some fish in though. Also had asked for an extra of curry sauce which came, but meant that the peas were missed off. When I tried to eat the small fish it was basically all greasy batter. At the end of the meal the waitress, who had been good up to that point, asked if everything was OK with the meal. I explained about the fish. She just said 'oh right' and took the plates away without another mention. The bill came to £15 for the two meals, which had the food been better would gave been good value but I'm afraid based on the food this evening and last time we went it was a major disappointment. I'd say to the management If you don't want to know how the food was don't ask but don't ignore when a customer tells you it wasn't good.
The Cottage – BlackpoolI got as takeaway from here on Wednesday night and was so impressed with the food. Everything was excellent, Will deffintley be eating here again soon, possibly sat in the restaurant next time.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeI would never go again. Rude, arrogant and unhygienic. The food was average I cannot believe the previous reviewer was real. I have read 3 other reviews now and they all concur with mine.
