Renowned for its quality and service I decided to arrange a lunch party for 10 adults and 3 children and I'm rather pleased that I did. As there were so many of us we opted for a private room (the Fylde Suite) and were served canopes on arrival. The Sunday lunch menu was concise but appealing with a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 puddings. The service was exactly as you would expect with the Clifton Arms - perfect. The food was even better! Well presented, good quality ingredients. Priced at £17.50 per head complete with coffee and hand made chocolates this has to be one of the best hotel restaurants on the Fylde.

Excellent food, Excellent service and Excellent presentation. Wish I had visited this cafe on the first day in Blackpool. I will certainly be back on my next visit.

An excellent restaurant with outstanding service. The food looks good and tastes even better. You should try the chicken livers they are to best I have ever had. Definitely worth a visit.

We eat at Jack? on a regular basis and find it the best place to eat in St Anne's, I can honestly say the food is different and the staff are extremely friendly, that? the waiting staff and the kitchen staff also. I can only say that you must visit and find out for yourselves.

I have eaten at Jacks many, many times now and I can honestly say that i've always had an excellent experience. Because the Early Diner and Specials Menu changes every week, I can go back time and time again and never get fed up. The staff are really friendly and give you that personal edge that is warm and welcoming. My last visit was New Years Eve - the place was packed and the atmosphere was fantastic. There was a band playing and everyone in the place was up dancing and having a great night. Despite being very busy, the food was up to the usual high standard and the service was great. This was my second New Years Eve at Jacks and I will certainly be having a third this year. If you haven't yet been to Jack's Bistro then give it a go - I can't imagine that anyone would be disappointed.

Excellent Thai restaurant, certainly worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. Try the set meal - very good value.

Many times have I sat down in the comfortable chairs in Margheritas the people who work there are caring and put all there effort into what service you would like. I love it even though I am only 11 there is some nice looking waiters too!

Ive been to a fair few restaurants in my time but this beats the lot of them! It had a very warm atmosphere the service was excellent and the food was incredible! Overall I give this restaurant A* and would definitely go again!

I had my wedding reception at The Villa; chosen solely because of the excellent food and service that we always receive. Needless to say the staff (Shane, Anne and the team) did not disappoint and every one of my guests (who were from all over the country) said it was the best wedding food they had ever had and the service was outstanding.

A lovely place for a snack with an excellent location overlooking the lake and estuary. Very busy during the season but just as lovely on quieter days

Our visit was the first but certainly not the last. Everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be regulars from now on even though we live 10 miles away.

We tried this takeaway based on two recommendations here and were very pleased! Only a takeaway, but it is very welcoming with a nice waiting area and a very clean open kitchen. All the staff and chefs were happy and friendly. My wife had a lamb Dupiaza which was excellent. I asked for a recommendation from the staff because I wanted to try something different and they suggested a Balti Massala which was also very good. Portions were very good size and prices reasonable. They also do 10% discount for NHS staff, Police and Fire Service (bonus!!)

Enjoyed a very good meal at the newly refurbished Ship at Elswick. The service was attentive and the surroundings comfortable with a good atmosphere and mix of diners. The meal was beautifully presented and generous portions were served. Wine was reasonably priced as well.

Recently refurbished, this is a great place to go with friends. Not too far off the beaten track and well worth a visit, food + wines both great and very pleasant staff and owners highly recommended!!!

Locations is a nice short walk from me but phone ahead with your order as everything is prepared fresh. Kitchen looks clean and hygienic.

This is a lovely chippy. There is seating for about 30 people. Good quality food, Nice friendly staff and that? why my family go back - time and time again. Best not to go at peak times (teatime) as it tends to get very busy. Open to 8pm most nights.

I got a Cheesburger with Chilli Sauce from here last weekend. Burger was superb very lean meat and the Chilli sauce was really special. I would recommend this very highly.

This is my favourite restaurant in Poulton and I usually go on a Sunday when it is quieter. Very good value for money the mixed starters are superb and the food is always hot and freshly cooked The house wine is very reasonably priced and I have always found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Sometimes there is a waiting time for the food but that is because it is all freshly cooked.
