Eat at restaurant during Conservative party conference. It was a bit of trek from the North Shore but it was worth the trip. Can heartily recommend.
Leeraj Indian Cuisine – Blackpoolwe have been in just a couple weeks ago and it was a fantastic experience! Though we have waited a bit for the food. but it was a very busy Saturday night which was packed when we got in around 8pm. The waitress were very friendly and attending. The food was absolutely worth waiting for, thumbs up for the fillet steak!! It was our first time, but won't be the last one!
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysBoth myself and my boyfriend ate at this quaint thai restaurant Saturday, 29th September 2007 and had one of the best Thai meals we have ever eaten - this little number is a hidden treasure on the outskirts of Blackpool - the food was fantastic - so much so this is why I am writing a review. the service was excellent and the staff very attentive, the food was quality at its very best. Red Pepper, The – Blackpoolthrough my experiences of take away food, i have not come across many that pride them selves in their food hygiene inabilities. i found they were serving food from their containers with their bare hands and then not even washing them, i will not be returning to this establishment again. the shop itself is clean enough, but when i saw they were using their bare hands, i had to throw the food away even though i took it off them.
Alis Takeaway – Blackpoolnot as good i thought it would be service was poor the waiters kept putting there heads down so no eye contact was made. we had starters very nice but wanted wine but never got offered any till half way through are main course by then it was to late. I ordered my Cannon of lamb rare and it was well done, drt and very small

Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonAVOID this restaurant - We were 'booked' in for dinner for 4 upstairs last Sat nightfor my wifes birthday. Arrived on time and could see it looked like chaos, we were then told they had no booking down for us and we could sit in the bar and they would come and get us. While we thought about it 2 other guests from different parties came and complained that they were booked in for 7pm and 7.30pm and had not been seated, It was now 8.45!!! SO even if they had our name down, we didn't have a chance of eating for 2 hours. The woman on reception didn't seem bothered and even remarked she was "getting it in the neck tonight" Very poor has really gone down hill

The Villa Country House Hotel – KirkhamMy family and I are regular customers and telephone our orders in each week. The staff are polite helpful and very efficient. If there is to be any delay you are notified before payment details are taken. The delivery staff are prompt efficient and very polite. A pleasure to deal with I look forward to many more enjoyable take aways.

Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeI have never had such bad service as I have from the staff and the manager of this restaurant. Firstly we received a diet coke which was flat and replaced by another which was also flat. When i complained about this I was told that everyones was the same. Then when the main course came out my partners sweet and sour chicken was tiny. about four fork fulls in fact. When I complained about this I was told it was on the specials menu and therefore a small portion. It was in fact less than half the size of mine. When The manager then said the portion was fine we just thought it was small because my partner is pregnant and 'eating for two'. finally they tried to over charge us. If you like tiny portions and being insulted by restaurant managers then this is the place for you, if not, then give china red a miss, I know I will never go back.
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeAfter being told that this place was great, I thought I'd see for myself. Yes it's a lovely place in a nice location. However I was disappointed in the meal I had. My ideal Sunday roast consists of all the trimmings, the veg, Yorkshire puddings etc, not here however, thats were I was disappointed. Lamb, two roast potatoes, two boiled potatoes, strips of turnip, carrots which were hard and green peas in pods? and swimming in gravy. I'm sorry but I will not be returning.
