Very average. Chips nice, fish far too oily! but i don't suppose they are trying to emulate Rick Stien though!

Seafarers Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI love the new thin base Romana Pizza's. Just the way they should be!
Pizza Express – LythamBy far my favourite restaurant in Lytham. Food is always spectacular, service is wonderful. You will wait a little longer for your meal during busy times, but its always worth it. Pricey, but you always feel like its money well spent on great quality food. Shame more people do not venture up that end of Clifton street, they would be very pleasantly surprised.
Novello – LythamOn reading some rather mixed reviews of this long established on sugarvive.com I think I should offer the views of a regular diner at this restaurant and many others both within the Fylde coast and further a field. I have dined at The Mews possibly every couple of months over the last seven years. I have never experiences a restaurant of such consistency, never having experienced a bad meal in this restaurant, my own mood dictating the level of enjoyment. The service levels meets expectations, for all able bodied customers I highly recommend sitting at a "low table" or "on the cushions", these are large low tables which can seat from 2 to 8 people, wear something comfortable. You may experience some initial discomfort, but, kick your shoes off ! In my experience those at the "low tables" are generally the last to leave the restaurant. The food is very good, the wine list is acceptable, the ambience - especially on the "low tables" is memorable. The Thai Mews in my opinion offers excellent value for money, I highly recommend the "Combi Starter", especially if you operate a "swapsy" policy with your fellow diners ! This and a substantial main course, selected rice and noodle dishes are unlikely to cost more than £20 per head and with wine from £8.50 per bottle this restaurant offers excellent cuisine in comfortable surroundings without snobby prices.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-Fyldei bought a holiday home in bilsborrow not knowing that just up the canal was this wonderful eatery from steak and kidney puddings to fish and chips and the helpings massive.in the italian restaurant i have had the best mussels by far there is a novel little train runs overhead good background music ,if you like pizza the garlic bread is out of this world .i can also recommend a stay over the rooms are superb some with jacuzzis !
Guy’s Eating Establishment – GarstangA great restaurant, with a twist on the usual Italian menu, with the owners adding there Sardinian approach to some traditional and some new favourites! Great service, you really are made to feel welcome and a friend. would recommend to any one!
Terra Nostra – BisphamExcellent quality of food, very well presented. We new the food tasted good before we even lifted our knife and fork! Sensible portion sizes left us both full without 'overdoing' it. Satay sticks to die for! VERY reasonable pricing. 2xstarter, 2 main with fried rice (a must!), 3 large wines and 2 'alco pops'. Change from £40. WOW. We eat out alot and Wah wah's rates as one of the best.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolThe restaurant is on 2 floors and the staff seem to reserve the lower floor for disabled customers, so the able-bodied - including most children - are upstairs. This is OK as the views are quite entertaining, but it can get a bit boisterous, especially at teatime. The selection of fish is outstanding and every time we have been there the service has been good and always polite. Mind you, the tea could be better, possibly the quality of the bags isn't of the highest. Nonetheless, of the multiplicity of fish-shops in the Thornton - Cleveleys - Fleetwood area, this is one of the best.
Seniors – Thornton-Cleveleysworth the visit just to see del the kitchen manager/carver he always makes you feel welcome 10 out of 10
Tramway, The – Thornton-CleveleysExcellent food and something for everyone, especially the buffet. Large portions, all cooked to perfection. Great service and atmosphere. I keep going back again and again.
Great Fortune House – Thornton-CleveleysWe visited the eating plaice back in March 2007 and since then we have been back to Fleetwood 6 times trying to find a better fish and chips!! We have yet to find somewhere, we will be returning to the eating Plaice in July when we return.
Eating Plaice – FleetwoodGreat Indian Restaurant, Friendly and welcoming staff and a great selection of dishes. We never book but they will always fit you in even when busy and to be honest we enjoy waiting in the bar area where the craik is good but the Kingfisher is even better.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI didn't go into the main hotel restaurant because my wife and I are not yet 75, apparently a condition for entrance. We did, however, eat several times in the bar during a recent stay. This was always pretty good in the past, but now that they have a new chef, it is really excellent and good value for a quick informal meal. Highly recommend the fish & chips and bangers & mash. Salads are good too.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamThe food was amazing, I definitely recommend the burger and the brownie pudding to share.
Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonI cannot praise Jack's too highly - it is an excellent restaurant. Great food prepared by conscientious and enthusiastic chefs who, through a regularly changing menu, never cease in their efforts to provide customers with something fresh and exciting. It's small enough to feel intimate and is perfect for a romantic meal for two (or three, should that take your fancy!) but big enough to cope with groups or family bookings. There is always a good atmosphere, regardless of whether you're nipping in for the keenly priced early-diner, or making it more of an occasion and eating later on. When there's live music on, it is fantastic. No hassle, great food and a genuinely warm welcome from owner Keith Blackburn, who works bloody hard and fully deserves the plaudits bestowed on his business on this site. My job as a journalist has taken me to many of Fylde's restaurants and bistros over the years, some bad, some good (and very good) but Jack's is the best as far as I am concerned. These days, too many restaurants rest on their laurels and many others regularly serve up bland an overpriced dishes that bear too close a resemblance to what I would call pub-grub - (which is okay...but er, in a pub and at pub prices). Not at Jack's. It's not surprising that Keith can rely on customers to return time after time - they know they are guaranteed well-prepared and well-presented food, served in pleasant surroundings with a superb atmosphere, cracking wine list and friendly staff (special mention here for the excellent Martina, too). I don't throw praise around lightly and I'm not overly-keen on spending my hard-earned loot either, but in this case, I'm happy to do both. My only complaint was that the restaurant was not open on Sundays - but now he's even taken that gripe away from me as Jack's, I believe, now operates seven days a week... bugger. Regulars will probably not raise an eyebrow nor disagree with anything written here, but this is not for them. It's for those who have not yet been. You will find dearer restaurants around... but not better. Greg Morgan. P.S. If that doesn't get me a free bottle of beer, nothing will.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaReading this site you would think BILL THE AIRPORT DRIVER was a major shareholder in the Pulcinella. We were recommended the Pulcinella by Bill the Airport Driver when he picked us up at Manchester Airport last week. We let our curiosity get the better of us and all we can say is WOW the best food ever. It was everything we were told to expect. It was a quiet evening no need to book lovely clean restaurant nice ambience. Menu was interesting the chicken livers were great. I had steak my wife had lamb they were both superb. Friendly staff who all know Bill the Airport Driver and yes he is a lovely chap and first rate driver and recommender of fine restaurants. We had never heard of the Pulcinella even though just 10 mins from our home. It will be a place we personally recommend ourselves from now on. Tried the rest in Cleveleys? Now try the best. The Pulcinella is very nice great food staff who are so friendly a great evening
Pulcinella – Thornton-Cleveleysbest in freckleton!! me and my friends are always in here staff are so friendly and always have a chat with you
Barnacle Bills – FreckletonWe have been to the Sunam, many, many, many times since it first opened. We now go there regularly with our son, who loves the food just as much as we do. We have never found another Indian restaurant in the area that has come anywhere close to this one and have had excellent meals and service every single time. Go, you will not be disappointed! The portions are generous and the cost very reasonable.
