Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonWent to stay at alohahotel in Blackpool for a fab week had lovely food in the promenade cafe good clean eatery not your usual greasy spoon good service owner very friendly if snack needed in day a very good menu lots of choice all in all a great week
Promenade Cafe – Blackpoolalthough a new restaurant, it was very clear from the cheery staff and lovely atmosphere that it was going to be an excellent meal. i have eaten at the villa many times before which is where Mr Piper has come from. the food was excellent, very filling and extremely tasty. i thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the meal and will definitely be visiting there again. Excellent reports.
Pipers – GarstangWhat a treat to be found. Tucked away at the rear of Blackpool close to the bus station, is a hidden gem of a fish and chippy. Upon entering i felt as though id fallen back in time, With the faux wood wall panelling and old school banquettes. The fish and chips was excellent. The cod succulent and the batter crispy. The attentiveness of the staff and the speed of service was second to none. Thanks Yorkshire fisheries for a truly memorable lunch
Yorkshire Fisheries – BlackpoolWe often go to the Red Lion. The kids enjoy the food and its ok service as well. You need to book to get a table Sat/ Sun.
Red Lion Beefeater Restaurant and Pub – BisphamMy husband and I loved Chinese food and have dined in most of the Chinese restaurants around the fylde apart from this one, as we don't like going to Blackpool centre at night. What a mistake!! This is by far superior to any other chinese around. We were genuinely surprised by the quality of the food and wine served. We had steamed scallops, salt and chilli squid, crispy duck and chilli beef and every single dish was fantastic! As to the wine, again we can't believe this small restaurant have such a well selected wine list (as most chinese restaurant don't, sorry if i upset anyone) and we washed down our food with a great bottle of Sauvignon blanc. Just wish we read the sugarvine reviews and found this restaurant earlier!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolThe food here is top notch. We have had buffet and set course meal, both are outstanding! the starters on buffet are the best i have tasted anywhere. (try the samosa) Good value for money here and the staff are great.
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolI have frequented Jacks for many years and have always received a pleasant welcome. The food has always been excellent and the staff show a willingness to please. I find the menu's give a good variety of choice and personal requests are always met for any adaptations to these. I have enjoyed quiet meals with friends and also themed nights held and have enjoyed them all. The management and staff are very approachable and create a relaxed atmosphere.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaI think that this restaurant has an amazing variety of food. The actual food itself is amazing. I am only 14, so I like to go for the milder things, i.e. Korma's, and Chicken Tikka Massala. I think that this food is amazing.
Buraq – KirkhamThe restaurant is no longer a Beefeater. The prices are now slightly lower although the food is very similar. Steak and chips and a big ice cream sundae for dessert. Yummy. Staff are really friendly and I like the help-yourself salad bar. Just don't have a big starter or you'll struggle to get through it all!
We spent New Years Eve at Jacks it was the best New Years Eve we have had the food & atmosphere was amazing! The duo that entertained were excellent so much so that once the meal was completed the whole Bistro was up dancing including Keith & Jeanette!! Needless to say we have booked for next New Years Eve. Thank you to Keith & all his staff for a memorable night, x
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic doorstop toasties, great staff and very friendly. Now open Saturdays which is even better.
Hungry Monkey – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic! I have been 3 times now with my hubby and we love it! Menu has a great choice available, service is excellent, food is great (and plenty of it!), nice little bar and a great place for parties and special occasions. You can even see your food being prepared in an open kitchen!!! would definitely recommend.
Frankie and Bennys – BlackpoolI ate here recently with my girlfriend and must say it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in a restaurant.
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaLa piazza II is an amazing restaurant, my favourite infact. The food id superb and the staff are charming, funny and very accommodating. My husband ties a different dish every time and is always very pleased. I myself always have the pate to start and the lasagne for my main. Truly scrumptious!!!
La Piazza 2 – BisphamGood simple Chinese Take Away. Very quick delivery
Welcome Chinese TakeAway – BisphamRenowned for its quality and service I decided to arrange a lunch party for 10 adults and 3 children and I'm rather pleased that I did. As there were so many of us we opted for a private room (the Fylde Suite) and were served canopes on arrival. The Sunday lunch menu was concise but appealing with a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 puddings. The service was exactly as you would expect with the Clifton Arms - perfect. The food was even better! Well presented, good quality ingredients. Priced at £17.50 per head complete with coffee and hand made chocolates this has to be one of the best hotel restaurants on the Fylde.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamExcellent food, Excellent service and Excellent presentation. Wish I had visited this cafe on the first day in Blackpool. I will certainly be back on my next visit.
