Excellent food and service with great surroundings, friendly staff and great value for money

My fiancée and I live in lytham and frequently visit the Redfort on a regular basis (monthly). The food and service are really very hard to surpass! The waiters are even willing to experiment by going off the menu if you like. Although it is walking distance from where we live we would definitely drive to gain such an experience. A very busy place but given that the lights were on, not surprising. The food was hot and very tasty, the service was quick and very efficient and although the prices were not cheap it was worth the money paid. I would easily recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

good food, great service, more than just fish and chips

It was absolutely off the SCALE! I went in there with my family for the first time, I had such COD time! I especially loved the halibut!

We recently visited the Shard Riverside Inn on and had an excellent meal with friends, served by courteous and polite staff, and all whislt watching the river go by!!!

Everything in this place is home made. The food is better than most restaurants in Blackpool. great service. The place could do with a lick of paint though.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in the Fylde, beats hands down the likes of Chicory and The Stocks. Cant fault a thing . The banana butty is a must !! Always my 1st choice.

Ate here last night for the first time since the revamp and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nicely decked out, packed (always a good sign), and plenty of choice on the menu which is what really did it for me (although the John Dory had sold out). Only slight quibble would be that you had to ask for the sauces and when they arrived they were in those dreadful little tubes that are a nightmare to open. But overall, far far superior to your standard 'chippy' experience.-
