There's always so much hype about good fish and chip shops that it usually leads to disappointment when you go and try for yourself. The Bispham Cottage however, is the first and only place I can safely say I have eaten at where the fish and chips is EXCELLENT! I seriously believe that this is as good as it gets. It's cheap, lovely and clean, with super speedy service even on quite a busy lunchtime. What more do I need to say? They do have quite a large menu (jacket potatoes, sandwiches, lasagne etc) but honestly - Fish and Chips ... any fish and chip fanatic who hasn't tried this place MUST! and those of you who are regulars and like the place a little quieter then I'm sorry! I think you have to give credit where credit is due. They also serve a whole host of home made pies and they do desserts too!!! (if you're a pudding fan, the same applies). You have to go and see for yourself. Fantastic food, can't fault it at all! There's an adjacent take away for those of you who just have to eat it out of the paper - I know, it adds to the flavour! You won't be disppointed :)

This was my first visit to the banthai, we had been recommended it by our neighbours, my first impression was warm welcoming place, small but you feel at home, and then it only gets better. The service was top notch and the food outstanding, the best Thai food I have ever had, I also love the waitress costumes and the decor, my favourite dish was the duck curry and my wife loved the prawns with spicy noodles. We will be coming back soon, thank you for a wonderful evening.

Went to celebrate my birthday last night. Had an absolutely fantastic meal. Staff made our party very welcome. And they even came out with a birthday cake for me at the end of the meal. Can't recommend the Mandarin highly enough. No wonder it has been going for over 40 years.

I would recommend Michaels to anyone, what a fantastic place, I can honestly say this is the best Indian cuisine I have ever had, and cant wait to come back

Under New ownership, and vastly improved, excellent menu all home-cooked and well priced, Fantastic range of real ale (In good beer guide). Really warm welcome. My family and I had a very enjoyable time.

Well Christmas is here again and for the second year by popular demand all 13 of us had our Christmas Party Night at the Villa again the food was outstanding the staff were excellent I had the Chargrilled Fillet of Beef cushioned by a Celeriac and Wild Mushroom Puree topped with Crisp Pancetta & Red Wine Sauce my wife had the Salmon and Leek En Croute resting on a beetroot salad with Cucumber Salsa Verdi all 13 of us had a great night and they are saying already are we booking for next year I think that says it all. The Villa is an ideal venue for any occasion. The food is first class and in my opinion the best this side of the Lake District. Whilst Burlington? at Broughton, Heathcotes at Longridge and Gibbon Bridge at Chipping are sheer quality the Villa excels that on the full combination of food, service, ambience and price. The entertainment is superb with renowned jazz nights, murder mysteries, gourmet evenings and the recently introduced wine tasting evenings. We went to a Christmas Party night at the Villa last week and the resident DJ was excellent The Villa management and staff deserve all the accolades they are currently receiving. The only problem is all these recommendations will make it busy!

After seeing a review on Sugarvine we decided to go to the New Granada bar when we were shopping in Fleetwood. My wife and two children had what we consider to be the best fish and chips we have ever had! The service was first class, as we were served by one of the new owners Bobbie. What lovely people, we certainly will recommend it to all our friends.

This is a very good restaurant with excellent food and service second to none. Great music and a magic atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and will always return.

I have been to Punlcinella a lot with my family. I recommend the goats cheese and the steak Dianne the staff are very polite and always very helpful

I really enjoyed this restaurant!!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fabulous night out! Excellent standard of food and service, I?e been a couple of times & every time i feel some change. (Means to say they keep them updating), 1 more thing see there back garden with Big Black Rabbit jumping around.

We went to the murder mystery night a few weeks ago and we cannot tell you how much we enjoyed it! The food was great as usual, three course banquet and coffee, the drama group who acted the murder mystery was so much fun to watch. It was just a perfect evening. The total bill was about £50 (including wine and service)per head but worth every penny.

Very enjoyable meal, the fish and chips were delicious, the batter crisp and light. Recommend the place to anyone who enjoys a delicious fish and chip meal.

Very nice location, visited once & food is good, very clean environment, like their back garden, and must try thisŠBuraq keep putting new offers, when I visited it was free starter & last time my friend visited they had a free bottle of wine.
