Guy’s Eating Establishment – GarstangEverything about this restaurant is lovely. The entrance and reception are warm and comfortable. You are seated on sofas while you browse the menu and are served your first drinks. The prices are average, but the set meal for 2 at £29.50 is excellent value with poppadoms, starters, mixed main courses + a side dish, bread, rice, and finally coffee and mints. We were also offered a complimentary drink when we paid our bill! The decor is lovely - traditional yet modern. There are tables with booths - perfect for a romantic meal. And outside the window is a beautiful garden, possibly even open in the summer, but even in winter it is lit at night and creates a beautiful window view. The food was excellent, the waiters very attentive, and we were not rushed through our meal. We would definitely return here, even though we live in Cleveleys and it is a drive out.
Buraq – KirkhamWithout doubt the finest carvery I have ever had, good portions, gravy to die for and the biggest Yorkshire puddings I've ever seen. On occasions I sample the A-La-Carte menu and have found every dish to be delicious especially the monster mixed grill. The atmosphere is warm and friendly very much a female and family friendly venue. A MUST VISIT!!!!!!
Halfway House Hotel – BlackpoolI think this Restaurant is very good, the food is of a high standard and the staff are very polite. I have been here over 20 times and it has become a regular friday night event.
Dragon Inn Chinese – Thornton-CleveleysWe had tried the high cross early last year and found both food and staff terrible however we thought we would try again and what a change the staff are helpful and I can honestly say we have not had a bad meal yet and we have been that often we must have tried most of the menu. well done!
High Cross – Poulton-Le-FyldeThis restaurant was great. We really really enjoyed it. We saw some families there and also there are booths at the back for couples etc. The garden is lovely and the service is excellent, attentive but not over the top. The food was absolutely wonderful, catering for me, a fussy vegetarian, very well. The owner is great. I don? think this is the cheapest restaurant but only a little above average and I believe you get exactly what you pay for. The place is lovely. I will definitely go back.
Buraq – KirkhamSTILL THE BEST IN BLACKPOOL
Paramount Chinese Restaurant – Blackpooli love this restaurant! I have so many happy memories here and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a tasty meal in a really relaxed atmosphere.
San Marcos – BlackpoolI visited Wah Wahs a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. It looks nothing, unnoticeable even, from the outside, but once upstairs you enter a modern, clean restaurant where the waiters are extremely attentive. The food was really nice, the only down point being that the beef in my Thai curry was on the chewy side, although the sauce was divine. The starters and my friend? meal were outstanding. At £17.50 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks, this place is very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Wah Wahs.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolAlthough expensive, this place is without doubt worth every penny - and as they say, you get what you pay for. I am lucky enough to live 5 minutes round the corner from Twelve, yet still reserve it for 'special occasions' as I'd hate to go all the time and get bored! The food is exquisite - I've never had a bad meal. Even down to the vegetables, which are cooked to perfection. The deserts are to die for. I am fussy about how my meat is cooked and the chefs at twelve always get it perfect. The ambience is classy, yet informal - I am sure you could get away with going in smart jeans, and the staff are attentive, without being pushy. I am unsure whether it's just a rumour, but I believe Twelve won a Michelin star a couple of months ago. If so, this was very much deserved. I just hope this doesn't bump up the prices!
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysHaving read some of the reviews below I was surprised to see what had been written about my favourite Fylde coast restaurant. I find each time I enjoy it more and more. The staff are friendly and atmosphere is fantastic. I went in on Sunday to find it full, now that is saying something for a restaurant this size on a Sunday evening. The food is always of high quality with the drinks at a reasonable price in relation to Poulton drinks prices. All in all a high recommendation!!
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe eat here all the time as its our local its always value for money and we have booked already for valentines as there is a really good offer on.
5 of my family ate here and it was the best food I have eaten in a long time, we had mains and desserts with 1 starter and drinks which came to around £140.00 it was very very nice and I could definitely recommend it to any one looking to dine somewhere with a difference. Its such a shame its hidden away somewhere I would not normally venture this far up into town, but now I know its there I will visit again.
Kwizeen Bistro – BlackpoolStaff were amazing, I felt they welcomed our table very well and we will definitely return in the future!
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-SeaThe best fish n chips in the area and I have tried them all. Beautifully crisp batter and very fresh tasting fish, and chips to match.
Pisces Fish and Chips – FleetwoodHI, it's me again, still the same cannot fault anything that you do all is excellent, David.....
273 The Fishery – BisphamMy visit to Taylors was most enjoyable. Everything was done to perfection. BEST fish and chips I have ever eaten. Thanks to you all.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolHi I came to Taylor? fish and chip shop from Bispham with a friend of mine Emma who recommended it to me. The food and premises was excellent, and the staff were too. The big man who cooked our food was so gorgeous, he is well fit!!! So for great food and staff this is the place to be.
