The cherry and almond scones were outstanding, the best I have ever tasted, will return with friends.

The cherry and almond scones were outstanding, the best I have ever tasted, will return with friends.
The Barn – GarstangI have been to Taste on a few occasions and the food has always been tasty and well presented (especially recommend the eggs benedict). Despite this there is a lack of atmosphere and the excellent food is let down by the indifferent service.
Taste – Thornton-CleveleysI have lived in the Blackpool area for over 20 years and there are many Italian restaurants, but we keep going back to Mimmo's. It simply is the best value, food and service in the area. No matter how busy they are, the staff are always helpful and polite, the food is excellent with a regular change of 'specials' and the chef is more than happy to come and talk if you wish. The menu is more a guide to what they do; if you want to have a variation of what they provide, they'll do that. AND they do a take-away service as well!
Mimmo’s Italian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysLike Mike Tyson, Tony Blair and Schumacher, The Mews started to believe it's own publicity and paid the price - or rather the customers did. We had been there a number of times and always been more than satisfied but of late it has been overcrowded, over-booked and over-blown. The seats, especially upstairs are crammed in to get as many clients as possible in, the service is slow to non-moving and the standard of the food has slipped as well. It would do well to return to its early days and standards; more is not necessarily better, especially in the restaurant industry.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeTo anyone who remembers Chinese restaurants in the 70's, this will be a welcome visit. Recently redecorated, the same family have been running it for many years and still treat all their customers as special. The menu can be chopped and changed at will and the banquets are just that. There is a 'doggy-bag' service if you can't eat it all as well as a prompt and reliable take-away service.
Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeExcellent value for money, we had a great meal, the service was good and staff friendly excellent fish and chips we found this one by chance but now we've found it we won? lose it. We recommend you try this one
The Haven Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaTwelve is the very finest restaurant we have ever visited. It is the most amazing dining experience. We travel from Margate each year to visit the restaurant. Everyone is so professional and very very kind and the food out of this world. Well done Twelve
Twelve – Thornton-Cleveleyswe went here on Sunday we sat outside in the sunshine, and had a mixture of dishes between 4 of us all lovely apart from the mixed grill with the bar-b-que ribs on a little over powering on the sauce other than that really nice slightly expensive for what you got but nice surroundings. Lovely inside with the water flowing under the bridge, and a really refreshing pint.
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolQuality of food and service excellent! Good friendly ambience. We thought they might have undercharged us for what we had!
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI visited the Lee Raj before it had its extension and after. Before the extension, I thought it was a very average restaurant with nothing outstanding. I decided to visit after the extension to the bar and I still think that although its good and I have no complaints it still looks average and tastes average.
Leeraj Indian Cuisine – BlackpoolI really have to say this is my pick of the bunch of the Tandoori/Balti Restaurants. The walls are adorned with certificates from various guides and organisations and the recommendations given in this website are testament to how good this place really is. The service is and has always been truly outstanding. It? a very different kind of service where you genuinely feel welcome and not just for your custom. My Chowdhary must work seven days a week and he is the one that makes the place tick.
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaHaving stumbled upon this restaurant during a shopping trip in Blackpool, my family and I are now regular visitors. The food is fabulous, and all freshly prepared, and it's excellent value for money (main courses average £5.00). We're slowly trying all off the dishes on the menu, and haven? yet been disappointed. The decor is nice; a bit bistro in style so more suited to relaxed, casual meal out rather than a formal/special occasion evening meal so wouldn't go too dressed up.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolFood is very tasty and the staff are always very friendly you can not ask for more help when you need some thing and it has a very good sense of good will
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaThis is got to be the best chinese in Blackpool. Ok, the decor is a bit dated, but who cares when the food is outstanding, the service was so friendly and professional they just know how to make you feel welcome. I went on a Monday night and it was full house when all the nearby restaurants were empty!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolI am a sufferer of coeliac disease, which is gluten and wheat intolerance. I find it very difficult to go out for meals because I feel very awkward asking what ingredients are in every meal, however, I went to Gemma and they were very helpful! They didn't make feel like I was asking too many questions and when the food came, it was exquisite! The best meal I have ever had.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaA few friends and I went for a meal at Gemma, and it was amazing. The food was the best any of us have tasted, and it was fairly priced. We will certainly go back and I recommend it to all of my friends! They also do not add any thickening agents so it is also suitable for those with coeliec disease, which my mum suffers from.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI can't remember ever seeing a fish and chip shop this clean. The staff were friendly and dressed in immaculately kept uniforms. The food was well presented in polystyrene boxes, no mess in the car, and all packaged in a quality paper bag. The food was among the best fish and chips I have ever tasted, the batter was crisp and light, cooked perfectly, the chips were chunky, crisp and not at all greasy. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Taylors to anybody who likes good quality traditional English fish and chips.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolI am a great fan of Indian food. I recently moved to St-Annes from Blackpool and tried the few Indian restaurants in the area and I must admit this is my favourite. My favourite dish is the King Prawn Jalfrezi Balti (hope its spelt right!). The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Although there are fewer restaurants in St-Annes, they are much better than Blackpool but this is definitely the best Indian In St-Annes. I am addicted to this restaurant and I always recommend friends and colleagues. It even does carry out take aways! Les
