the baked fish was an absolutely amazing treat! i personally recommend the haddock on a bed of leeks in creamy sauce! delicious!

We've now made made three visits to Michaels since the chaotic opening night in November 2003. The standard of food is excellent and the menu is certainly unique in its layout and adaptations of some traditional favourites. Maybe this is the reason we keep coming back We have one or two criticisms though,particularly with the standard of waiting on. Employing too many teenagers who clearly have no training or aptitude for the task has frequently been a big let down which we have seen little evidence of improvement in subsequent visits. A second lesser fault is the consistancy of some portion sizes, is it just us or do the starters shrink on busy nights ?

A fabulous restaurant with a extensive menu catering for all tastes. I had an 18oz rump steak which which was so tender. The trimmings that come with the meal were too much for myself but a great selection. The atmosphere was very friendy and the service was 1st class. In a resort like Blackpool that is full of fast food and takeaways Truffles makes a superb change. Absolutely 1st class

I enjoy meals at the Ship and have never had a bad meal yet even when it has been really busy. A family booking has been made for 28 people this shows confidence in the Ship

Unfortunately for us (and them) they don't accept our (locally obtained) diners card anymore and will now loose us as regular customers. Despite their re-vamp attracting new trade, their profits will probably go down considering what we saved on food they got back two-fold in wine costs!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Haddock Mushy Peas and Chips. My first visit but will not be my last.

Visited the new look Seniors WOW!!! Taken the fish and chip shops to the next level! Food ALWAYS good, staff always friendly and the fish variety is endless!

Good food more expensive than most Chinese restaurants but you pay for what you get.

On my occasional visits to Blackpool I always make sure i visit this establishment. It must be the very best in the area and one of the best in the North west region. The decor and layout of the restaurant is of the highest order as is the food and service,a hidden gem in the dining desert of fish and chips that is Blackpool

Monday's are great. A round of drinks for four, including a double!, came in at well under £7.00. The food was good too. The service was excellent, especially Ben who is a complete babe!

Tried this restaurant for the first time on saturday for my tenth wedding anniversary and we could not have made a better choice. The surf & turf is a must. Mediteranean tiger prawns were out of this world and the fillet as tender as can be. The atmosphere was very relaxing with sixties music in the background. If you visit Blackpool this restaurant is a must.
