Fieldings Fish Bar – BlackpoolIf you weren? looking for it you? miss it, located in a basement off the main road. Once you do find it its definitely remembered. The chef here is producing top quality real food, I had a starter of asparagus with hollandaise and an incredibly well cooked poached egg on top, it was light and delicious. For the main I chose the aged steak on a gallet of potato with wild mushroom sauce, again the dish had a lightness to it, not over rich with the sauce, I welcomed it, the steak was cooked perfectly. If you are ever in this area go here you wont regret it. The wine list was also very good with high quality wines by the glass.
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat an excellent restaurant. The service is excellent, the food tremendous. Starters are all £4.85 Choice of 7 The seared breast of Lytham woodpigeon, leaf salad, and liquorice sauce. Terrific. Carpaccio of Scottish salmon fillet with potato & chive salad very, very tasty. The main courses Again 7 to choose from and what a choice all priced at £12.00 We had the Teriyaki Lamb steaks honey stir fry, ginger & lime sauce just to good for words. The Glazed duck breast, wilted greens, In a sweet port sauce. Again you just have to try it. Also we had The roast suckling pig, Lancashire stuffing, Strawberry pepper sauce. Great. As you can probably tell they are big on sauces but they are great combinations. A truly excellent place to eat good food well prepared and served.
Kwizeen Bistro – BlackpoolWe ate here on Friday we had two specials which were 6 pound each not bad, but the fish was very small to say it was supposed to be large, however it was enough for me maybe not my boyfriend as he has a bigger appetite than me, the fish and chips were cooked to perfection didn't feel like I had just eaten fish and chips as they were very light and actually refreshing.
Whelans – LythamWe are frequent visitors to Seniors Restaurant, (March to October) namely because we know we are guaranteed excellent food, service and value. On Saturday 11th June 2005 Senior's Staff excelled themselves that littler bit further. A coach party from The Gateway Club, North Wales had arrived, not once did the staff loose their patience or respect for their guests, the service offered to members of the party and other diners far outweighed 'Customer Service' of the highest calibre. Not only did the staff serve excellent food, they served it speedily, efficiently and more important than that, they served the meal with a smile. Seniors Staff deserved the applaud of all the guests in the Restaurant that evening. They certainly gained a coach party of friends who will only be too happy to recommend Seniors Restaurant to other Gateway Groups. Well done to all the staff and see you all very soon.
Seniors – BlackpoolThis is one of the best Indian restaurants in Blackpool and I do recommend this to everyone who asks about Indian restaurants, as they are absolutely lovely!!! The service was lovely too!! Will be back!!!
Bombay Restaurant – BlackpoolFood and service was outstanding with a pleasant atmosphere and value for money. The staff were very helpful and polite all the time. We would highly recommend that you visit this restaurant when in Blackpool.
Oriental Village – BisphamA good restaurant for a celebration, with a great atmosphere. The food was well presented, but distinctly lacking in flavour, and I was not impressed with the service. The waiters and waitresses made too much of a fuss of collecting plates etc and really werent very chatty at all. Considering how much my friends rate this place, my first visit was more disappointing.
China Red – Poulton-Le-Fyldewe went there at the weekend and was served by the very polite and helpful Dina, the food the service and price were all brilliant. I had the steak feast and my partner had the mixed grill, for dessert the lemon meringue sundae beautiful as always definitely recommend.
What a fantastic discovery this restaurant was. Everything about it was superb. The food is as good, if not better, as many of the restaurants in China Town Manchester and the staff are so friendly. We enjoyed it so much we went two nights running and are already looking forward to our next visit!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolWhat a pleasure to finally get a nice little neighbourhood Italian on Highfield Road. For years. it's been just pubs, takeaways, chippies and a Chinese. It's a traditional place, the kind with candles in Chianti bottles. Food is good (except for the lasagne which was dire, hopefully a one-off). Plenty of people there too when we went which makes for a lively atmosphere. Brand-new Indian next door as well -- things are looking up in South Shore!!
San Marcos – BlackpoolMy partner and I are regular visitors to this restaurant as it is very close to where we live. Recently we and two friends went out for a meal and left it up to the staff to decide what we should eat - we just wanted a vegetarian feast - and we were all very pleased with the food, the taste, the quality and the quantity and even more pleased when the modest bill arrived. Other guest's smoke has been an issue on the odd occasion.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaThe service was excellent and the food was brilliant. Will definitely go again.
Indian Orchard – BisphamHave just had another excellent meal at Jacks. The quality is always good my only complaint would be that the portions are such a good size I can never find room for a dessert. The nights when they have entertainment are excellent value for money.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaI have been going to the Trafalgar for some 20yrs and it still is right at the top of my favourite places to eat.....fabulous.....keep it up
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodWe went on a works night out on a Tuesday evening and there were 14 of us. The food was amazing, the vegetarian selection was great and the service was out of this world they could not do enough to accommodate us. I decided on this restaurant through Sugarvine as I'm not a local and it was excellent the best Chinese I've ever had!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolAbsolutely fantastic cafe bar/restaurant. The only downside is that it isn't open in the evenings (it closes at 5.30pm) The Sunday lunch is unbelievable value for money and the presentation and standard of the food is superb. We eat out very frequently and the quality of the food at Taste rivals some of the best, top quality restaurants on the Fylde. If you like well presented, exceptional food at an unbelievably reasonable price, then this is definitely the place for you.
Taste – Thornton-CleveleysI eat out regularly at all the many eating establishments in the area but I have to say that the Bilash is my favourite. I always come in with my wife and sometimes with my sons. We always love it here. The Bilash is a family run business and has a nice caring, and comfortable atmosphere. You?e made to feel really welcome here. If you haven? visited you should.
