Jade Delight Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BlackpoolReally enjoyed the evening. All the staff are very attentive giving excellent service. Great atmosphere and highly recommended.
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysThis establishment is two distinct & separate eateries, The first is "Guys restaurant & pizzeria" This is an Italian restaurant, the pizzas are freshly made by "Christian" who makes the dough and throws the pizza in the air while you wait. prces £7.50 & £6.75 other dishes mainly Italien range from £6.50 to £15.95. I would say the wine list is "Expensive" The other eating place is "Owd Nells Tavern" this is more your upgraded pub grub. A good selection of real ales. A very varied selection on the menu would recommjend the Irish mussels, £4.10 loasds of cream. The "Home made" snake & Pigmy pudding appear home made although it could have done with a bit more gravy. £6.05 Other food available Lamb cutletsat £6.95. If you intend visiting at weekend be prepared to wait as it gets very, very busy especially when the sun shines. There is a table booking service in operation usaul wait 10/15mins & then about 15mins for your food. Large sun verandah if you only want to drink. A very very good day out. watch out for the kids though, as previously stated.
Guy’s Eating Establishment – GarstangFor the slightly older clientel I recommed the down stairs area of this great place. The staff were very attentive. The food was first class. It was hot and very well presented. The wine list was very good value foor money as well. I truly would recommend this restaurant as a very pleasant change from the usual place. Help with the menu is given for those like me who cant read thai let alone understand it. Another hidden little gem in the Fylde
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeWhat a cool wine bar this is. Fantastic interior ( modern and funky). Funky tunes!!, great food, and fantastic cocktails. Only downfall to many shady characters lurking about!!
Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamIve eaten in a lot of chinese restaurants in the fylde, but this one definately has to be one of the best around. Compliments to the chef
Paramount Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolI recommend to sit up stairs in this restaurant on the floor as you get a real authentic feel. Food was excellent. Staff- very friendly. Not a bad word to say- excellent.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeThis wine bar is so popular, Lunch times are heaving. What a great menu, so much choice. The salads are great. Excellent food, Fantastic atmosphere. Full marks!
Cube Wine Bar – Poulton-Le-FyldeThis has to be one of the most regular pubs that I visit in poulton. Foods good, staffs friendly. A good relaxed atmosphere.
Castle Gardens – Poulton-Le-FyldeThis is a restaurant Ive been visiting for years. The food is excellent, the ambience is great, service is also very good- the staff really do work hard as the restaurant is always busy. Interior is also very modern and satisfying. If youve never been to this restaurant its definately one to checkout.
Portofino – LythamThe place is fantastic. Nice relaxed and peaceful atmosphere during the day, and great fun on a wednesday night. any bikers get up there any way you can, and for anyone else, go on a nice day and take a walk down the front, or past the golf course. Beautiful views out to see. GO see for yourselves
Knott End Cafe – Knott End-On-SeaExcellent meal. We have been on more than one occaision and have never been disappointed. Although not cheap always gives value for money. Would thoroughly recommend it for a special occasion.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaThis was one of the best meals I've had for years, easily beating the London restaurants I dine in frequently. The produce was of such good quality and cooked to perfection and the wine list sensiblbly priced and very satisfactory. The service was excellent, friendly without being obtrusive and the restaurant itself very attractive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greens and will definitely visit again when in the area.
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-Seavery good food
Shalimar Gardens – BlackpoolEnjoyed the luchtime special here and the Minestrone Soup was just delicious also the Ham and Asparagus Pizza.
Portofino – LythamFantastic place for Sunday lunch and a bargain at £12.95 for three courses. The place really comes into it's own on a sunny day with it's beautiful terrace overlooking the Wrea Green countryside.
The Villa Country House Hotel – Kirkhamthe baked fish was an absolutely amazing treat! i personally recommend the haddock on a bed of leeks in creamy sauce! delicious!
Seniors – BlackpoolWe've now made made three visits to Michaels since the chaotic opening night in November 2003. The standard of food is excellent and the menu is certainly unique in its layout and adaptations of some traditional favourites. Maybe this is the reason we keep coming back We have one or two criticisms though, particularly with the standard of waiting on. Employing too many teenagers who clearly have no training or aptitude for the task has frequently been a big let down which we have seen little evidence of improvement in subsequent visits. A second lesser fault is the consistancy of some portion sizes, is it just us or do the starters shrink on busy nights ?
