We are regulars at Thyme and on 17.12.24 we had the Festive Menu. All courses were delightful, well cooked and beautifully presented. Good value for money and super service all round.

Excellent food and service as always

We took my mum her for her birthday on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The food was outstanding, We had 2 Sunday lunches which were delicious and I had brisket with burgers in Yorkshire pudding. This is so different and much needed in the area and deserves to do well. The service was great and all the staff were very pleasant. Will definitely be going back. Thanks so much.

Excellent from online booking to leaving. We randomly found this place a few weeks ago and wow, great food (not your normal) piping hot and sooo tasty. Highly recommended.

I have attended for Afternoon tea and Hall tour twice in the last fortnight. On both occasions I had a lovely time. The afternoon tea was delicious, with excellent service. The hall looked amazing, a real treat. Thank you to the team of volunteers who made this all possible.

The experience was a gift from my three daughters and what a special gift it turned out to be. From the moment of arrival to the end of the follow-up tour of the hall, the experience could 't have been better. The staff and volunteers were attentive, cheerful, friendly and accommodating; the food was perfectly prepared and served thoughtfully; the number of people for the size of the space was just right and the decor was breathtaking. Altogether, we had a wonderful time and the additional bonus of a tour of the house, themed "A Dickens of a Christmas" completed the afternoon. Thank you to all staff and volunteers!

What a fabulous venue, all staff are incredibly welcoming, ensuring a great evening. Owner makes sure every part of our evening was spot on, food was divine and wine advised was also a fabulous choice. Excellent place to eat , me and 5 friends had an awesome meal excellent food all brought out at the same time fresh and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place thus is the second time I have been there enjoyed it so much last time I brought my mates . Thanks Henry’s

Great food and great service

We enjoyed a tour of the hall first then enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea in the beautiful Georgian tea room. Excellent food and first class service by Simon.

Stayed for two nights. We throughly enjoyed our food. Lunch and Dinner were amazing. The staff were super attentive, professional and friendly. The atmosphere as that as you would expect at a country pub very comfortable along with the festive decoration it felt welcoming. Overall a very pleasant time and we can not wait to return. Top marks to all thank you.

I went last night for the 4th time in just under 2 weeks! I’ve taken mum, my hubby and 2 friends and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed it and said we’d return. The food is clearly freshly cooked, it’s consistently delicious. It’s also great to have somewhere different to have a lunch. The staff are all lovely too.

As usual, excellent quality food and the added bonus of table service for ordering drinks and food. Pleasant, efficient service in a wonderful setting. Successful formula keeps people coming back again and again. Thanks to the chef and all staff.

First time visiting after hearing so many positive reviews, food was really nice, great portions, and good price. staff were very friendly, we will definitely be back.
