Wonderful pub, friendly service with a marvellous landlady (Judy) who also cooks meals, which will keep you going for days. Roger keeps an excellent pint. I can't recommend it too highly.

Church Inn, The – GarstangThe food was tasty, but over fancy, too small portions, and very pricey for the amount of food. Although again, it did taste good. Surroundings, and service good, but perhaps they should tweak the portion size and consider the prices. If I hadn? had a hi-life card it would have been even more costly!
The Broughton Inn – GarstangWhat a place!!! Thatched, Canalside, Family Owned & Run, Real ales, Home made food. Your in Hospitality Heaven!!!
Guy’s Eating Establishment – GarstangA group of about 20 of us ate at Guys, Everyone had a different dish and nobody was disappointed. We are going back for valentines weekend.

Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangWe have been here on two occasions and enjoyed it both times. The service is very good and we were impressed by the food even though the portions were a bit on the small side and quite expensive for a pub/restaurant meal. The dining area is quite impressive too, nice and cosy. Would recommend to all.

Kenlis Arms Hotel – GarstangThis establishment is two distinct & separate eateries, The first is "Guys restaurant & pizzeria" This is an Italian restaurant, the pizzas are freshly made by "Christian" who makes the dough and throws the pizza in the air while you wait. prces £7.50 & £6.75 other dishes mainly Italien range from £6.50 to £15.95. I would say the wine list is "Expensive" The other eating place is "Owd Nells Tavern" this is more your upgraded pub grub. A good selection of real ales. A very varied selection on the menu would recommjend the Irish mussels, £4.10 loasds of cream. The "Home made" snake & Pigmy pudding appear home made although it could have done with a bit more gravy. £6.05 Other food available Lamb cutletsat £6.95. If you intend visiting at weekend be prepared to wait as it gets very, very busy especially when the sun shines. There is a table booking service in operation usaul wait 10/15mins & then about 15mins for your food. Large sun verandah if you only want to drink. A very very good day out. watch out for the kids though, as previously stated.

Roebuck, The – Garstangwe travelled from Bolton to Garstang market, and this cafe was very busy and served us a first class meal that i would not really class as cafe type food. yet the price did not reflect the meals we ate.My husband ate a lovely Breakfast and i ordered the lasagne, which arrived with a crisp salad and chips. we did not even have long to wait and the owner only charged for one drink.. lovely setting and nice food , we will definitely reccoment this cafe as a place to try. we will be back on future trips to the town.
