Came across this pub on line on way back to Manchester . Had the Sunday dinner which was lovely only one small gripe the Yorkshire pudding was cold at the bottom . The staff were lovely and service efficient

Been very good for many years. Under new management most things have improved further, the food and service excellent. Inevitability prices have increased, but are still competitive .

Starter of prawns basic, £9.95 for a deconstructed prawn cocktail disappointing. Main course of lamb shoulder very nice. Staff friendly.

Had visitors who wanted to eat out, they wanted proper food. Booking a table was simple on your system. Food was delivered to our table very quickly and politely. We all enjoyed the food and drinks we had. Our guests also said the food was amazing.

We were a table of 6 we all enjoyed our meal, service very good meal excellent varying from Lasagna fish & chips sandwiches etc. ambiance very relaxing family & friends came from Longton Preston & they were all impressed & would definitely return.

We booked a table for 2 this last Sunday 7th July. We had no idea that Garstang was having a gala that day meaning that the whole town was busy. The staff, bless them did their best, but it still meant that the meal was took over an hour to serve. I have to say the meal was excellent (Sunday roast beef topside). We really enjoyed it, but the time it took meant we had to leave without having a sweet. But we will be back again x

My wife and I were meeting up with her cousin who was staying at the Garstang Golf Hotel and we had arranged to meet up in the evening. A neighbour recommended the Royal Hotel, we weren't disappointed, we had a lovely meal in very pleasant surroundings, with excellent service. What more could we have asked for? We'll be back again soon.

Gorgeous little cafe in an orangery in Wyresdale Park right under Nicky Nook. Pretty pit stop after a walk. Food was very good too.

OMG our experience was just amazing from start to finish , the atmosphere the staff and wow wow wow the food was amazing will wholeheartedly recommend the home made cheese and onion pie and the cumberland sausage with butter mash. Dessert we had was lemonchillo cheesecake and ice cream and apple pie and custard again was just as amazing and all the meals were very well presented The building was very quirky inside and out plenty of outside eating areas as well as being rightbeside the canal. Thanks once again Guys and Gals for making our experience great we loved it and will definetly be back

I came with my partner and father for fathers day lunch and had a fantastic meal. The food was amazing, great quality, flavour and good value for money. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again.

This is only the second time I've been here but my Mum is a regular. The food is amazing and very creative with the flavours without being too out there. The place itself is so cosy but classy as well and the staff are equally friendly but professional. I can't wait to go again.
