Amazing food! Time and time again Settebello deliver - thank you to those in the kitchens. Pleasant service from the gentlemen who served us. My apologies, I did not get his name. After food, we continued outside and met friends for drinks. Niall and another gent were absolutely lovely. They looked after us and had a laugh with us. What I particularly liked was that they always kept us in the loop with our orders while they were busy with other tables so we knew they weren’t forgetting anything. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks all

Had a lovely evening. Food was amazing, as were the cocktails! Only downsides were that we booked far in advance and then were squashed in a tiny little table next to the toilets and kitchen bar. We were thankfully able to move but we wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much then as the tables were too close and there were too many people walking around.

We came as a table of 4 on Saturday evening about 8pm. Place was buzzing. A bit slow as a result to get initial drinks, but then service got much better. Our waitress Kat was excellent. Efficient, friendly and a credit to the restaurant. Could not say the same about some of the other waitresses on that night. The one serving the table next to us when we initially asked to order drinks was quite rude in her reply. Still, Kat more than made up for this. Food was excellent. Totally enjoyed our experience. Would highly recommend and will be back.

We enjoyed our meal with you the other night . But we were all squashed together , this made it difficult if not impossible for waiters or waitresses to walk around us . Also we had to shout to make our selves heard . The music was too loud . One of our party is quite deaf , not because of age !! So communication was not easy . . It was a shame as we had not seen these friends for 18 months . The service was good , but couldn’t always hear them .and food delicious .

This place never ceases to amaze me! Fantastic atmosphere with wonderful fresh, tasty food. The most friendly, attentive waiting staff for miles around. Already booking my next visit.

Beautiful fresh food with quality ingredients. Both my partner and I are veggie and we found the menu to be good - we wish there were more fresh vegetables as sides or with the pasta dishes. But on the whole, everything was delicious and the restaurant was well staffed so good service.

Great first experience with lush limoncello but tables too close together as could’ve joined in the conversation with the table next to me but couldn’t fault the service or food.

Food, service, atmosphere all amazing. Honestly couldn't fault it. Want to go back soon as there is so much more on the menu I want to try. Had the arancini balls for starter and fillet steak for main. Both very tasty. Partner had the bacon wrapped mozzarella for starter and sirloin for main. Sirloin a bit fatty apparently, but that was thr only negative. Loved it and will defo be back.

Fantastic little find. First time visiting for us after it was reccomended to us. The staff and service were fantastic and the food and drinks were perfect. A really good menu choice for both! We will be returning to try another dish.

The food and drinks here are absolutely amazing, I’ve not had a meal as lovely as that in a long long while! However, the table layout is not great. We were placed between a table and the counter where food and drinks were served, and right near the entrance to the toilets. It would have been okay had it been full, however there were many other tables available and I feel like we were shunned there due to being one of a handful of couples that had arrived that evening. On top of this, one of the waitresses (not our own, she was fantastic!) continually knocked myself and my girlfriend every time she walked by, and knocked things off our table on more than one occasion. Amazing food, ruined by poor table placement and an inconsiderate staff member

We had a beautiful meal last night. Amazing atmosphere and superb food

The food at Settebello was delicious and so were the cocktails - everything we ate or drank was very good. The service, however, was not great. We didn't even get given menus until about 20 minutes after being seated (and only then because we asked) and when we did receive them the waitress literally threw them onto our table. It took half an hour to actually order our food and we had to shout to get someone's attention. At the end of the meal, we waited 20 minutes for someone to come and take our payment, even though the restaurant was nearly empty by then. Aside from this, the restaurant was absolutely packed, with tables really close together and none of the staff wearing masks. I know there are no longer any hard regulations about precautions that should be taken to prevent the spread of covid, but we're not out of the woods yet and this didn't feel very safe. Even without covid, having the tables so close was not very comfortable and meant the waiting staff had to squeeze past the table while we were eating, sometimes nudging our plates and glasses. Such a shame because the food was so great, but based on the service and the atmosphere, we wouldn't eat here again.

We booked as it was my Partners's son's 15th Birthday, we sailed in the dock earlier in the day, and discovered the restaurant on our walk around the town, we booked for 20:15. On arrival, we were greeted ( ( past over a cake we had brought for him for his birthday). We were directed to a table, and then had to wait over 20 mins before being asked if we wanted a drink and that was only because I caught the attention of one of the staff. And then another long time before we had a meal order taken. The food arrived and I can't complain in any shape or form of the food or the quality it was wonderful a great range of flavours and all presented well and very good portions on everything. We dined and even though we knew about the birthday cake had been looking forward to sampling deserts, as if the mains were so good, what could we expect for the deserts. Again we waited and then very kindly you presented the cake which all went well. We then enquired about deserts and were told that the kitchen was closed and this would now not be possible, We were taken aback by this as no one had mentioned this to us earlier and this somewhat spoiled our evening somewhat after all the effort and had you taken orders sooner this might not have been the outcome, and all would have been ok, or had you communicated this to us sooner we could have ordered in time, but you took some time taking our orders and this impacted on the whole dining session, I would have raised it more on the night but did not want to make a scene as it was a celebration evening. Also when we requested to take some uneaten food, we were given a story that it could be done due to HS, this is utter rubbish, I work as an HS officer, if you can let someone take a pizza home you can allow them to take pasta home, this rule does not tie in with the law and made me cross as the explanation or though sound plausible was utter rubbish. I would like to think the service issues can be addressed and also the matter of the food I would like to see the risk assessment on this ....

The food and service was exceptional, and good value for money.

Perfect lunch with the wife - really enjoyed it - great food and service.
