It was our first visit on Sunday, I had searched online somewhere to meet friends for a roast. This place did not disappoint! Lovely food, generous portions and the kids enjoyed a healthy size roast too. Will definitely be recommending to friends as well as returning

Table of 6 and we were unanimous that this was the best roast dinner we have ever had! We had the stuffed chicken, Turkey, sirloin beef, pork across the 6 of us and plenty of delicious accompaniments. Steady flow of extra gravy was much appreciated too. Only potential feedback, a cauli-cheese would have been the icing on the cake. Service was on point. Food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat in the area and then we came across Settebello. With my boyfriend being italian, I was a little nervous to try a random Italian restaurant but we were really impressed with the quality of the food and the setting. Service was good too. Grateful to find this place!

Often dining on the Friday evenings this was our first Monday night outing, and what did we get? Well the dining area was busy with the sound of conversation, something I very much enjoy (I dislike the noise of music) Local art displayed on the walls is a lovely touch, and for sale for those adding to a collection or wanting something 'different' to a photograph to keep as a memory. The service is always great, overflowing with smiles and with an attention to detail that makes this culinary experience so very special. The wine list is fantastic, with local wines and other English wines, local Ciders and Ales also there to be enjoyed if wine is not required or favoured... and then the food. This is the best bit. I believe something for everyone, locally sourced and delightfully presented. For our vegan friends there is actual choice, not just the one option of so many places... The fish and chips on a Friday are magic, as are the vegan fish and chips... The ploughman's (a favourite of mine) is available as a cheese feast, or with meat or a vegan option is available... great as a lunch or as a dinner. Sunday roasts are just clever, presented on a board to be carved at the table, with vegetarian and vegan options. There really is not anything to dislike when dining here, lunch or dinner, always a delight. Thank you.
