Sunday lunch is amazing, love the butchers block idea. Staff are lovely, service is good. We were disappointed this Sunday as some of the roasts had sold out when we got there as we could only get a late booking. Definitely one of my favorite pubs and thoroughly recommend.

Wye Valley Catering – ColefordOver booked ! Had to wait 45 minutes for our food to come out . We had the streak and pudding deal . Steak was on the tough side . Partner asked for no tomato and he had tomato on his salad which he had to ask to be changed. We was asked if we wanted any sauce ‘s but the vinegar didn’t turn up so had to asked again Nobody came back to see if our meal was okay . We went to pay and there was two extra drinks on the bill. Disappointed with the meal and serves. Had better in the pasted visits

Food is excellent, highly recommend but probably need to book on peak days. Staff always great, local gins, extensive wine list and produce local. Talented chef, pleasant food, good vibe! For a Friday evening the restaurant was not busy so the service was excellent and the food even better. We enjoyed the dinner so much that we came back for lunch the following day as we were staying locally. Highly recommended xx

It arrived on a sharing platter the most delicious huge joint of pork with yorkshire's roast potatoes new potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables. and a lovely jug of tasty gravy . Staff were super friendly and the pub had a lovely welcoming feel to it. I would highly recommend anyone to book this amazing feast on a sunday and probably pre book like we did. My only disapointment was we had no room to enjoy what looked like amazing desserts too xx Thank you soo much oh and also the kids fish and chips was fabulous too my grandson really enjoyed it. Ohh and yes cauliflower cheese even offered as an extra to buy would have given it an 11/10 xx
