Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterHad a Sunday lunch at the pub. My wife had the turkey and I had the beef both of the meats came as a joint where you carved it on your table, the carving board had the 2 joints, 2 Yorkshire puddings some roast potatoes and lots of gravey

Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterWaitresses and waiters were absolutely great and pub decor really lovely. Was a bit disappointed in the food - the reviews led me to believe the food was really special. I had the beetroot and goats cheese main course which was the same size as my friends starter (small). It was just some lettuce with a few pieces of beetroot and some crumbled cheese. Perfectly fine - but for a pub with such great food reviews, I had expected a big bowl of lots of different coloured beetroot; interesting leaves; and a big fat melty piece of cheese rather than some crumbs.
The Masons Arms – CirencesterHad a fantastic evening at Settebello. As usual the food and service were second to none. Fabulous evening.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterAnother lovely meal and great service from the staff at the Miners.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordVisited on Friday night with a friend, friend has allergy to cheese and strawberries, this was noted and was also on receipt, she order the Cajun chicken burger with no cheese but it came out with cheese on it was not an issue to change it but when the replacement came out, really swiftly it had no mango sauce on which was bought out later once it was mentioned food is always consistent and delicious so not sure if this was just a hiccup with communication and the pub being busy
The Masons Arms – CirencesterLovely lunch in lovely pub with lovely waitress! Kids loved it too
The Masons Arms – CirencesterIt was certainly an experience from start to finish! I ordered the Pimms & Lemonade off the cocktails menu during happy hour but was only brought 1. When I asked for the other 1 I was then brought 2. This was pointed out & I was told the extra 1 would be taken off the bill. Then one of the party had to chase for her drink & she wasn't brought the correct soft drink but we didn't say anything. We then ordered our main courses. One of the party asked if she could change the chips on her dish to the truffle chips but ended up with both. I ordered the duck breast off the specials menu but was brought a carbonate. The error was obviously pointed out. I was then asked did I want the duck legs or the duck breast. I again said the duck breast & was then told this would take 45 minutes. By this time my party had almost finished their main courses. I told them I wasn't going to wait that long so changed my order to sea bass. By the time this arrived my party had all finished their meals. Three of us ordered desserts & the panacotta was served on a warm plate. We were then offered a free round of drinks but we asked if we could have a voucher instead but were told this couldn't be done but the cost of the sea bass would be taken off the bill. We asked for the bill & had to wait & chase for it. When it came the deposit hadn't been taken off so it had to be redone. The bill then had to be redone again because the 1 Pimms & Lemonade drink hadn't been cancelled as we were told either. All in all it was most certainly an experience which I wouldn't want to go through again.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterThis place looked promising as we passed by each evening. Was really looking forward to it but what a disappointment. First up, I have to say the staff were lovely and very accommodating- this wasn’t their fault. This was an American pop up evening. The menu was very limited and we opted for the ‘buttermilk fried chicken’. It was poorly cooked chicken thigh meat. Since we had already started I felt that I had to eat it but couldn’t stomach eating the rest of it. Thankfully for my husband, he just cut his up but didn’t eat it. I paid for it this morning and all day today - I have been really I’ll and have lost a day of my holiday with not feeling up to going anywhere or doing anything. I’m sure they probably have decent food at other times but I felt that this food was disgusting.
