Booked for birthday celebration, asked for a table outdoors on booking but not mentioned by staff or accommodated which was a shame it wasn’t even acknowledged considering it was a special request. Meals came out very quickly but felt like they were keen to get us served and out, which didn’t make for a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed the food!

Visited with a friend for an evening meal. I had booked it only a couple of hours earlier. We were seated promptly after being greeting by a pleasant young lady and waited hardly any time at all for both our drink and food orders to be taken. We both ordered haddock and were very satisfied with ours meals - beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and served by pleasant staff. Thank you.

First visit to this Italian restaurant. Super food and great service at lunchtime, we will be back.

Has just become our favourite restaurant in Gloucester. Amazing food. Very good staff, couldn't be more helpful. Great atmosphere. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Would highly recommend and we will be frequent visitors on our trips to Gloucester.

Great service , absolutely delicious food!

Came here for our anniversary on a nice hot summers day, had the choice to sit outside which was amazing and well needed! The food was simply amazing, flavourful and visually pleasing Brady served us throughout the evening and never seemed too pushy but the perfect amount of service for drinks and caring if we enjoyed our food, he was polite and attentive! Overall a very nice place to go and I can see us visiting again soon!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal on Monday evening at the Miners with the pot luck menu. Very friendly and attentive service. Pub was busy with lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent especially the five ways with chocolate desert. Thoroughly recommend!

The food is brilliant, the service is good

A warm welcome, very nice pub/ dinning everyone was extremely pleasant. Great choice of wines and beer, food was delicious. We visited last year and coming again next week.

We had a Sunday dinner which would thoroughly recommend. The young staff are all very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The roast beef is excellent you carve yourself with freshly cooked vegetables. Ideal break if you are in the Forest of Dean

Service a little slow but very pleasant. Steaks excellent value for money. Very good value for money overall. Would recommend as worth a visit.

Amazing food and service as always

The starter was not as looking forward, but it was ok. The main dish was lovely and tasty. Great service and atmosphere.

Initially I was a bit sceptical as the menu had all the usual pub grub items like burgers, fish and chips etc. However, this is definitely not pub grub and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, particularly the Thai curry which was clearly freshly made. The great options on aperitifs to start with were also very professional and well presented. We will be back.

Unfortunately wasn’t the best the experience for us but the host was pleasant. the younger member of staff was not very welcoming, the food was pricey for what it was - the steaks were bland.

We love the Miners. It’s our local pub. They really care about flavour, ingredients and presentation and we always bring visiting friends there to show off our local cuisine. I am not much of a drinker so love the new mock tails. The strawberry and ginger I had on Saturday was to die for! My only one bit of constructive feedback is that the menu doesn’t change much and it would be good to reflect the seasons a bit more, for instance having some nice fresh salads in summer as a main.
