It seems that whenever we try a different place to eat, we always end up comparing it back to The Miners Sling! We've eaten there so many times and never had one meal where we have not enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and we don't have to wait long for our food to arrive. I'd always recommend The Miners if you're in the area

Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterWe were in our motorhome at a nearby site and I looked at pubs who did a good roast dinner, my husband doesn't like carvary's so I was pleased to have a reply from The Miners Sling to say the meat comes on a board and we would carve it ourselves. On the board also were the roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings, the veg came in separtate dishes and a large jug of gravy. The food looked and tasted amazing, we will come back here just to eat let alone camp. Staff were tidy and polite and very helpful, a wonderful experience.

Friendly atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. I will definitely be biding the restaurant again on my next visit to the Cotswolds.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamThis was my second visit , the first was with a friend to celebrate my birthday back in April, this time it was to celebrate Marie’s birthday..after the experience in April, we had to return. The food is delicious, I had a pizza and Marie had an open pizza with fries and salad….again, the food was outstanding, the service is second to none and the atmosphere in the restaurant is good. The staff are welcoming and friendly,. I have no doubt I shall return again very soon.

Couldn’t have a conversation without shouting across the table and even then it was difficult to converse to eachother + the waiters. Other than that, the food was of high quality and came out quickly and the waitress was so polite, smiley and caring!
