Our second visit, good atmosphere and less noisy than previously, charming service and great food - our favourite restaurant in Gloucester.

Was recommended by a several friends Excellent starters, generous mains which were beautifully cooked and presented Complementary bread to start and a wide choice of drinks will definitely visit again

What an absolute gem. Trattoria Settebello is simply a wonderful dining experience. Authentic Italian food at its very best, cooked and served by a family and staff who are passionate about what they do. With Chef’s and ovens direct from Naples, this is as authentic and wholesome as you can get. Everyone is made to feel very special from the moment you are welcomed at the door. Pasta, glorious pizza and a host of other dishes await you all served in an atmosphere that has a buzz and warmth surrounding it. The Food, amazing ! The service first class, the experience unforgettable.

We had an excellent meal at lunchtime sat outside on what looked like the village green. The food was consistently good and extremely good value, particularly with the lunch menu. We had the beetroot hummus with focaccia bread, olives and salad and whitebait for starters and cheeseburger and Thai fish cakes for main. All the food was delicious. We’d have had pudding as well, but were too full!

Superb food and the manager (I think?) was very welcoming. Boar sausage roll ploughmans was delicious. £3.80 for a pint of Thatchers? If it wasn’t 200 miles away I’d come here every day!

Our first visit to The Miners, and we plan to return. We were given a friendly welcome and seated promptly. The menu is varied, and it’s good to see that some of the starters can be made available as a main course. The food arrived quite quickly and was beautifully presented - though some of the pasta on the vegetarian tortellini was slightly undercooked. Overall, it really was an enjoyable meal in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and we’ll definitely be returning and we can see why so many feel the same — cheers.

Myself & 3 brothers came here for a meal on the off chance and we was not disappointed at all . Sevice , staff , food was all absolutely amazing highly recommended! Can’t wait to go back again !!

As always, a lovely meal in a lovely setting. Good choice on the menu, like that it changes regularly. The coast cheese was fabulous and the fish was so huge we couldn’t make the third course as we were full. We go back regularly as we feel we can’t do better

It seems that whenever we try a different place to eat, we always end up comparing it back to The Miners Sling! We've eaten there so many times and never had one meal where we have not enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and we don't have to wait long for our food to arrive. I'd always recommend The Miners if you're in the area

We were visiting the area and lucky enough to book in at the miners sling for Sunday lunch. They were very busy but service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, portions were generous, and the beer was local! Definitely recommended
