We had another excellent meal yesterday. Our Sunday lunch was delicious and excellent value , the service was very good . Will definitely go there again and would thoroughly recommend for meals

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Generous helpings, beautifully cooked meat and vegetables. All staff very personable. We will be back soon.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch. We had a table outside which was ideal as it was such a warm day. The service was good without being rushed.

We highly recommend the miners ..if you have not tried the Sunday lunch add it to your bucket list,also every Monday night is " pot luck monday "50% off all meals.. The staff are fantastic and very helpful and knowledgeable on all aspect from food to local drinks.. They all work very hard so don't forget to tip them.

Four of us booked here for Thursday Lunch at 1.30pm but arrived earlier. We were greated by a friendly lady who asked us to sit where we would be comfortable. She took out drinks order and then our food order, which I thought was great considering we were early. The food was lovely and there was a large range of drinks available. Table service was spot on. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch. There were 7 of us and one of the party is in a wheelchair. They accommodated us without any fuss. The food was amazing, and staff very attentive and helpful. Will definitely go there again!

Normally our visit to the Miners is wonderful. Great food and service. They were busy and short staffed. Unfortunately 2 of our party were held up in traffic and arrived 15 minutes late. I did message to this effect. However I don't think that excuses the attitude of the person serving us. We were told that we had to hurry up and select from the menu because we were late and now the chef was out of his order. There was a disagreement over the Hobgoblin. None of the 3 of us had heard the IPA when the server was listing the cask ales, and were surprised that it was a light beer. The server was adamant she had said IPA and we were adamant we hadn't heard it. An impasse was reached. She did offer to bring an alternative but would be charging for 2 pints. The steak and ale pie was dry. Veggies and chips were good. A potato was dropped on the floor by the server who didn't pick it up. The fruit was gorgeous, and the chocolate dessert lively. Unfortunately the food was marred by the reception. What happened to customer service?

Absolutely wonderful food as always. We all had pizza so didn't have to wait long for food. Great service and atmosphere.

First time here and will be back! The food was great and the staff very helpful.

Always great food and service, 18T Bone steak here is one of the best I've had, and I have had a few steaks in my time. Keep it up guys and will be back soon.

Every time we go to the miners they are very accommodating. This time they was very short staff because of illness but I can tell that they managed the situation very well.I was so impressed I left a bigger tip that usual.and would like to say thank you to all the staff on that day

Best place and atmosphere to enjoy a pizza. Also the stuff are amazing and they make the best calamari
