One of our favourite restaurants for a lovely meal out with the girls. The staff are friendly attentive but don't make you feel rushed. Food is always good and the cocktails are lovely. The tables by the canal side have a great atmosphere and I love that you can move out there to continue the evening once you have finished your meal. Wish they did loyalty cards as we go a bit too often!!

We came with high expectations, unfortunately the service was very slow with getting a drink taking about 25 mins and food order a further 20mins. White wine ordered was not well chilled perhaps it had been poured earlier but took time to be delivered - added ice to the wine. Staff appeared to be inexperienced.

Fabulous service; exquisite food! The staff were really friendly and supportive to three new mums who were all breastfeeding. They made us feel very comfortable and really looked after us. Thank you!

My sister & I enjoyed a leisurely lunch. The atmosphere was relaxing but at the same time professional. The food was excellent, served promptly & the service was outstanding. A big thank you to all the staff that made this a dining experience that will be remembered for all the right reasons. Highly recommended.

Visited the miners sling back in 2018 and have been raving about it since, took my family back this week and was not disappointed! Ploughman's all round and really delicious. Staff were lovely and on the ball with gluten free options. Great pub, dogs were welcome, thoroughly recommend

Delicious food, great atmosphere and brilliant staff. I would come more often if it wasn’t so often fully booked! The sirloin steak is absolutely delicious - really lovely flavours.
