Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamVisited yesterday for the first time for Sunday lunch. Delicious roast pork carved at the table and well cooked accompaniments. Excellent deserts. Left over meat wrapped for us to take home. Friendly and efficient staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordA place we can reliably take family and friends to ensure an enjoyable ambience, good service and excellent food and wine at reasonable prices, whether coffee, brunch, lunch or dinner.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyPopped in for tea at 5pm, friendly welcome as always, chose a table and ordered drinks. Two of us chose from the £10 eat out menu, we had local sausages, creamy mash with a jus and red cabbage, which was absolutely delicious. Great sized portions, perfectly cooked and presented, my son had a steak from the main menu which he very much enjoyed, super taste and perfectly cooked. We filled up with pudding, melt in the mouth choc brownie with Malteser ice cream, totally delicious, all presented beautifully and served with a smile, Great food, great pub, great team, always ready to go back for more.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordFriendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Food was top notch and very delicious. We will certainly be back soon.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordWe had the ‘picnic table’ for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Couldn’t fault any of it and just enough for lunch.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordGreat food again. Friday meal for 2 . £20 for two fish and chips. Great value.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordWhat a perfect ( and cozy) first meal in Burton!! We loved our cheerful waitress and our poke bowls.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamWe have visited Cafe Vino several times and I think it speaks for itself why we return! The welcome we always receive is so warm and we get made to feel like family! The food is always served with amazing quality and we are always asked if we want to wait a bit in between courses which I feel most restaurants fail to do. Thank you all for being such a wonderful host to Tewkesbury! We will be back soon!
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyThe best place in Tewkesbury. Friendly welcome, great menu, delicious food and a lovely environment. 100% recommend!
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyAmazing! We visited recently when we booked a weekend away from home to go on the sculpture trail in the forest (with our 5 year old) and didn’t want the hassle of driving back to the midlands.. we didn’t fancy eating at our accommodation for the evening so googled local restaurants, and miners can up and looked very appealing.. our visit far exceeded our expectations.. wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful rustic and warm surroundings.. and the food!! Just exceptionally good pub classics done with a flair.. our experience was so positive that we are already planning our return with our extended family.. an excellent example of when things are done right… cannot wait to come back
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordVery tasty food, pleasant helpful staff and great ambience
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyThere is no more iconic spot in Bourton-on-the-Water than The Croft. The interior feels as homely as the barns you see dotting the Cotswold countryside, and check out all the signs for a giggle while you nosh. From your inside table, watch the insta shots being taken on the bridge. And from the patio, enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Our service has always been impeccable without a hint of poshness - just happy, helpful folks delivering the best food in town. So that leads us to the food...traditional breakfast die hard, not to worry, The Croft, the full English or the vegetarian English will fill you for the day. The avocado on toast is fresh and feels healthy. The Belgian waffle has had magic done to it. It comes out slightly candied on top. Roll your eyes back in your head and just savor every bite. The pretzel bap is a roll with panache! I start each day with a chai latte. I'm not sure the clock keeps ticking without one of those. Come back the next day for lunch. Burgers are served on that same delectable pretzel roll, and the thin and crispy fries feel very indulgent. I've heard they are the way of the young people, while the oldsters prefer the thick, hand cut chips. If these are any indication, the kids win! But try the poke bowls. You can't find anything else like them in the village. Fresh ingredients, flavorful combinations and you'll leave the table full without feeling stuffed. You still have space? Get an ice cream on weekends from the window by the river, grab a cake or scone and enjoy a cup of tea. This is your one stop shop for ambience, views, and exceptional food.
