We called into The Miners on a Friday, which was unusual because we normally have Sunday Lunch here if we book, but the meal was lovely. My husband had the boar burger whilst I had the haddock. We both enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend The Miners.

We were eventually seated at 7.15pm and placed our order, food did not arrive until 8pm following us asking where it was! Food was ok, but service and organisation not up to scratch I’m afraid, we will not be returning.

Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyWe live in Worcester but make the trip to Caffe e Vino regularly because the food is incredible, the welcome is warm and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We have eaten a wide range of dishes from across the menu and have never been disappointed. There is always a list of special dishes and vegetarian / vegan dishes are clearly marked. The flavours are always intense and it is difficult not to be tempted by the wonderful cakes and ice creams to finish the evening. Firm favourites are the bruschetta (how can tomatoes on bread taste this good!), ciccio ripieno melanzane (a crispy filled pizza drizzled with balsamic vinegar), 4 stagioni pizza adapted to be vegetarian, and insalata ortolana. The bread in the bruschetta and pizza is special!
