We had a delicious roast here yesterday, adult and child portions though both were very generous. Service was quick and friendly and my 8 year old loved playing the games there in between courses. We'll definitely be back again.

Visited for Sunday lunch and the food was amazing, can’t fault anything. The staff were lovely, efficient and friendly. Really recommend The Miners to anyone who hasn’t been.

We had a delicious meal. The mussels starter were the best I have had in a long long time. Deliciously plump & rich juice. The chicken dish was also tasty & all the veg had been freshly cooked. My partner had the rump steak which she said was tasty & the chips were gorgeous. The staff are attentive & helpful. We took our dog & she was very welcome.

We booked for afternoon tea and cannot fault it. The food was brought out in stages which made the whole thing so much more relaxed and enjoyable. All of the food was fresh and tasted home made which made it feel so much more personal. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it and left there feeling comfortably full. Would definitely go again.

Booked a table back in April for an event Event was cancelled the day before it was due to take place. No notification and no communication. Received booking confirmation of table booking but no table reserved for us when we arrived. Managed to get a table and the replacement event was very good and had an enjoyable evening. Think communication on all levels needs to improve. We did not eat at there was no food options that night

We had an excellent lunch at Caffe e Vino. The menu and Specials offered a wide choice and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all very attentive, knew the menu well and were obviously part of the “family” feeling at the restaurant. This was our second visit and we look forward to the next time. Thank you.

We visit the area a couple of times a year and always make a point of stopping here for at least a Sunday lunch, the food is lovely, great size portions yummy desserts a good choice of drinks, the wines are kept well. The young staff are attentive and friendly. Front of house staff are knowledgeable and the food is as local as can be possible. Have recommended The Miners to all our friends and anyone else who will listen to us!!

Booked a table for a special occasion, the table was not ready when we arrived! Poor! No explanation did not ask if we would like a drink whilst we wait! Rather than left just standing there we sat and waited!! Food 8/10 Service 7/10 Nothing special unfortunately! Would not recommend.

I cannot fault this restaurant, brilliant service, seated straight away. We arrived at 5:45 pm on a Sunday and had only pre booked our table 20 mins before. The food was absolutely delicious best fish and chips I’ve had! We were two adults and two children and plenty to choose from. Real quality home cooked food will definitely be back again when in the area.
