My first experience after hearing positive reviews was not a disappointment. Staff were welcoming, efficient, happy and helpful. My mother and I went for lunch and were spoilt for choice. Portion sizes were generous and well worth the money. The atmosphere, colour scheme and decor enhanced the whole experience and transported us to warmer climes. I opted for a small Sauvignon Blanc with my meal which complimented it beautifully, a quality wine for a quality meal. I did book by emailing requesting a table and am pleased I did as on arrival they were busy and had customers who were asked if they minded waiting. My only niggle is that I didn't get a response from my email therefore on arrival, when I saw it was busy I was concerned we wouldn't have a table. We did, it had been reserved but it would have been good to have had confirmation before arriving. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Another fantastic meal at The Miners. The haddock and chips was great start. Perfectly cooked fish encased in light, crispy tasty batter. The dessert didn’t disappoint . The chocolate and chilli ice cream was excellent- such depth. A sumptuous white chocolate crème brûlée was quickly demolished . Great service too.

Delicious food, excellent service and great value for money. The staff were welcoming, attentive and created a the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a first visit to the Miners - we’ve already booked our next one!

Great food lovely atmosphere and good coffee and cake

Fabulous lunch enjoyed last Friday at Cafe Vino. The food was superb, the atmosphere was magical in the beautiful garden area and the service was excellent!

Wonderful food, great service & lovely attentive staff. The pork roast was delicious. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough Thank you, we had the best time. We were a party of six & everyone enjoyed their food

As always, Sunday roast was excellent. Amazing cooking on the meats. We had Pork, Beef and Turkey. Quantity of meet is also excellent! Sides were very good also; nice roast potatoes, good veg, and amazing cabbage. Would be nice to see a larger selection of desserts, but cannot fault the qaulity of those we had. Definitely our favourite place to visit for Sunday Roast in the local area, and I'm sure we will be back again.

We had a meal on a Saturday Evening, the food was very nice, my only complaint is the soup did not come with any bread, I know there were croutons, but not the same as a nice piece of crusty bread and butter . On on whole very enjoyable meal with nice staff

Thank you Davide and staff for making my husbands 80th birthday celebrations to go well. A lovely atmosphere and good food. We couldn't ask for more.

When you think all Italian restaurants are the same think again!!! This one is excellent the food has such different flavours, beautiful wine, lovely ambience in the garden terrace. Staff very friendly as is Luigi the owner..such a nice fella.

Fabulous meal, great service, very good value, friendly atmosphere.

We all enjoyed our family lunch, lovely surroundings and great food. The restaurant allowed us small menu changes to accommodate our grandchildren's preferences. My very slim and super fit grand-daughter enjoyed her pasta pomodoro so much she opted for a second helping instead of a desert!

Booked a meal for seven people and we were seated in the garden - what a lovely space. The food was great and the service was very good. We were well cared for and under no pressure to rush. We ate far too much! Will definitely come back again and be recommending to local friends.

Another splendid lunch. A summer lunch in their garden. Delicious meal in this popular and welcoming eatery. Always a treat.
