Excellent food love this place.

Lovely food and massive portions, well worth the money! Make sure to book as they are busy.

We received a warm welcome and attentive friendly staff who served us and the food was delicious, we all enjoyed our meal. Would definitely return should we be in the area again. Glad we booked in advance. Already passed on our recommendation to others.

We had breakfast 3 times and dinner on Sunday evening. Breakfast was nicely cooked, a little slow on Saturday and the continental breakfast needs a bit more choice I think. Dinner on Sunday was delicious, my steak was beautiful.

Best fillet steak I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. Friendly staff looked after us well, lovely place, 2nd time we’ve been and will definitely go again on our next visit.

Fabulous service, food and wine. The Sea Bass was delicious as was the Pork Belly. The desserts were also great!

We had a nice meal overall. However, we were told when ordering that there was no more tofu, which was very disappointing as the vegan tofu dish was the reason we booked a table at this restaurant. My husband found his dessert (lemom posset) scrumptious, and the waitor was friendly.

Had a lovely relaxing meal meal last week (w/e 27 July 24). We both had the prawns to start with, followed by the fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection. The services was efficient and friendly.

Thoroughly Enjoyed. Ate here as a couple in July 2024. The food, service and drinks were all amazing. My husband asked for the Thai curry with added chicken and they were happy to oblige. He said it was the best he’d ever eaten. Wine freezing, lots of gins to choose from. Lovely corner table. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent meal here on Saturday. Both the lamb rack and pork belly were superb, as were the desserts. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was good. Recommended.

We had a lovely meal here on Thurs. We had Lamb and Chicken both were really good and plentiful. My Lamb was cooked exactly as I requested. Service eas efficient and relaxed. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Went for a meal to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Had a main each and a dessert and a couple of drinks Great friendly service, food was excellent and also good value. Cracking little Bistro in Grasmere, highly recommend

Very expensive, almost unreasonable. £14 for 3 prawns for a starter? On both occasions, breakfast and dinner we waited up to an hour for our food. This really let it down. Wouldn’t choose to eat/stay again.

Sea bass fillet was excellent; other than that our table of four was disappointed in the meal and to some extent the service, which was less warm than what we experienced elsewhere in the UK. Scallops were mediocre, as was the curry as the vegetables were overcooked. The side dish of veggies that accompanied our sea bass was also overcooked to the point of being inedible. Would not recommend.
