The food and service were excellent and it turned out to be by far the best of several meals in Grasmere during a short stay. The food was clearly freshly sources and cooked to order and there was a friendly service atmosphere. The cheese board was particularly notable.

Service was great, asking us promptly for drinks, again for ordering our food. The food was delicious, we had starter mains and deserts and there wasn’t a single thing wrong with any dish. Thanks for a lovely night and if we return to grasmere we will certainly be back here!
