Return visit after such a good first time. Again food excellent, staff excellent and atmosphere very pleasant. We will be back next year.

An absolutely superb meal for 6adults,1child and a dog. Split by 15 minutes for 4 plus 3 to accommodate timings. The food was splendid, the atmosphere was easy and the staff were lovely. We will be back in 2 nights time for the last night meal in Grasmere, looking forward to it. Special mention for the Polish waitress for her jolly nature.

My wife and I ate here on Saturday night. Food, staff and the whole place was great. It was full and had a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it if you’re in Grasmere.

This restaurant is amazing. Wonderful food, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning when we visit Grasmere again.

Not easy to book. On line or nothing. Starters were good. Tables in the window far too close to each other. Less than a metre between tables. Mains were poor. Steak asked medium rare, served very well done. Waitress sincere and apologetic. Owner / manager not, poor attitude. When time and eating together are closely linked an offer to cook a fresh steak to the required level is not always the answer. We noted that another customer was not happy with how his rack of lamb was cooked. Overall a disappointing experience. Would not return when Grasmere has so many good well established places to eat at all levels. Service rating relates to the waitress. Management would not get 1.

The service and atmosphere was great! Best restaurant in Grasmere! We ordered starters, mains and dessert and we couldn’t fault a thing! Everything was very tasty and cooked really well. Would definitely recommend for a nice evening out for dinner and some drinks.

Another lovely meal at Lewis’s

Dinner at Lewis’ was the best meal we had in Grassmere. The MOST delicious scallops I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and a really pleasant ambience . If you’re Covid concerned tables feel a little close together Thank you
