Lovely food served in a good atmosphere by wonderful staff, we really enjoyed our food the rice pudding was amazing.

Another wonderful meal at this brilliant little bistro. Service is polite, friendly and attentive. Food is to die for, especially the pork belly, melts in your mouth with an abundance of flavour. This was our fourth visit and can't wait to return on our next trip to Grasmere.

Delicious food - pork belly and lamb followed by rum and rasin rice pudding which the icing on the cake. Staff very fabulous too. Very happy customers.

Was attending a wedding at the Wordsworth on the Saturday and was looking for a place to eat on the Friday came across Lewis Bistro so thought we’d give it a try was met with a waitress was very pleasant and sat us to the table viewed the menu which was a excellent variety starter was a smoked haddock omelette not my usual choice but was cooked to perfection and tasty fantastic choice then onto main a steak which came with everything I liked again cooked perfect the steak came with all the sides mushroom onion rings chips etc all with the price of steak all great value fantastic service and cooked to perfection what more could a Nan from Leeds expect 10 out of 10 will definitely be back thanks for a great night Alec

We had an excellent meal at Lewis's Bistro. The staff are great and the food was delicious with plenty of it. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone living in or visiting Grasmere. The menu caters for all tastes.

We had 2 lovely meals here - food and service was great. Would especially recommend the lamb!! Thanks for putting up with us with a little baby. Nothing was to much trouble. Great atmosphere- a hidden gem

Had another great meal here last week.The standard is so high.We had the pork belly and chicken dishes.We visit every year and this has always been our 'banker'. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I spent a week in Grasmere and based on reviews I had seen we decided to book for dinner at Lewis’s Bistro. It was so good that we chose to visit them twice more! Delicious food beautifully presented and served with much charm and professionalism in a delightful setting. Everything a restaurant should be! If you are staying in Grasmere it is definitely the place to eat.

Great food , good atmosphere and friendly staff .. If I had any complaint it would be that the initial wait for ordering 1st drink was too long but the restaurant was busy and after this our service was good.

We travel from Kent Twice a year every year and stop in Grasmere. We have had so many meals in Lewis’s Bistro and had so many different variety of meals. I can honestly say not once have we had a bad experience. The food is absolutely fantastic. The staff are always so friendly and polite. The ambiance is very good. 5 star rating. Elegant bistro serving fine dining experience in comfortable surroundings. The food was excellent as was the service. Perfect for a special occasion as it feels like a real treat rather than just somewhere to get a meal. We saved it for our last night in Grasmere whilst on holiday and it didn’t disappoint.
