Very friendly.service quick. Food amazing. Great value for money

Very disappointed, my partner had whitebait starter, some was served as a clump of fish stuck together, side salad last saw water the day before, no tartare sauce etc served with it. Her main was fish pie which consisted of three mussels and mashed potatoes, will not be visiting again.

I bought a friend here on Tuesday lunch (not knowing it was a two for one day!! Extra Bonus) but for her birthday. The staff were delightful and informative. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a a really perfect lunch /special day! If I had one little moan it was that the room was very chilly which spoilt the atmosphere a little . But it was a bitter cold day overall and we were so glad we came.

Valentines Evening - initially disappointed as the online booking did not mention it was a special fixed menu and we had mentally selected from the standard menu. The choices were not what we would have picked. HOWEVER - the food was wonderful. Tasty and superbly cooked. Portion sizes just right. The wine selection is good and, although not stated on the menu, you can order by the glass from any of the listed bottles (except champagne, but that's still reasonably priced). Also, the waitresses were wonderful, with the right balance of polite and friendly. We've been before, we'll definitely go again

The second day of midweek break staying at Dunston Hall Norwich and wanted some good seafood. Went online to see what was available and found The White Swan Great Yarmouth. Looked at the menu and saw it was boil night ( Thursday ) Two courses for two people for £60.00 . Starter a choice of King Scallops with samphire and Chorizo oil or king prawn pil pil followed by a main course of a seafood boil. It was easy to book on line and wasnt too far from where we were staying so booked for that evening. Arrived very good parking on site and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. When we arrived it was busy so it is obviously a popular night. We both had the scallops and they were fantastic. We will definitely return just to have them again . Then moving on to main course, the boil. Plently of shellfish including clams, muscles, stone crab legs, king prawns and giant king prawns. We paid £10 extra for extra giant king prawns although the ones that came with the boil where more than enough. Well worth the money good food, well cooked at a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive even though we arrived about 30mins early. Glad we stumbled across it and had our craving for seafood completely satisfied . We will definitely return for the boil again and will try another night to try the dinner menu which looked very tasty too.

Our party of 4 had a lovely meal. The appetisers - we had both - were lovely. The taramasalata with pitta was delicious. We all had cod and chips which were excellent. We were looked after really well and nothing was too much trouble.

Our first seafood boil! Most definitely recommended, starters were also delicious. Definitely value for money. My husband and myself enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were welcoming and kind, perfect experience for a date night if you don't mind wearing a protective bib and gloves! Everything I hoped it would be. Thank you

Delicious meal, friendly service , excellent value you can't go wrong at the White Swan

First time to the White Swan and it was obviously a popular restaurant. It was a small but pleasant atmosphere only spoilt by the table we were allocated - right behind the front entrance which was continually used by coming and going customers. Also tiny too. The door, when opened, produced a cold, draft on my legs and back and then customers were virtually surrounding our table, waiting to be seated. Also a frequent escape for smokers too. What could’ve been a memorable experience - turned out to be memorable for all the wrong reasons. Service was good but pleasant. Food good too but for the price - let down by the seating options. Less is more guys so don’t over book tables and give the customer a great night, instead of a ‘blurgh’ night at a cost.

What a lovely seafood boil with added lobster, the starters were perfect and so delicious, excellent portion sizes, lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff absolutely recommend :)

Excellent, fresh, tasty seafood with great service. A little bit pricey but with this quality, hey-ho!

First time here, will definitely be going again, couldn't fault anything
